If there is no ECAS number and they are not telling him to send the info to London... I'm afraid this could be a rejection letter, with the application being on its way back also... Hope I am wrong.

Then surely they would just send the entire application back, why would they go to the expense of sending 2 pieces of post?

My guess is that they are giving him a chance to include the form, and that he is still in the "queue", because they know since 1122 is full he'll have no chance to re-apply.

Yes, you may be correct. I can't believe that is all they say in that letter... there must be more...

Do we know if his money was taken?

If they cashed his draft or charged his card, then this might mean they consider his application complete enough and that he just needs to send the one form to London.

Honestly, hearing some of the things people have been rejected for I am very surprised that he has not had his entire application back. However, anyone who did not pass completeness check generally gets their application back in a couple of weeks. So 30th September to 7th November = 5 weeks, sounds a bit long for a standard rejection for lack of completeness.

The only different thing that has happened is that they have asked him to submit the IMM5562 to London. So this means his file is already in London or on the way to London. This can be AOR (acknowledgement of Receipt) as this also can signal that he is eligible. That was the only thing that CIC had promised earlier. They had said that they will send a confirmation of eligibility to the candidate and then transfer the file to VO for processing.
Canadaforall - any view on this please?

I have my doubts on this, we are all aware that any forms missing during the initial completeness check, CIO would have the entire package returned as 'incomplete'.
Some great news for all the anxiety! ??? ???

Paging Canadaforall...Paging Canadaforall... Could you please return to the 26/6 information desk :)

We need to know what else that letter says... any ID numbers? Where does the info need to be sent back, Canada or London? Come back Canadaforall ???

Hi Doc Manu and other guys who will be taking IELTS again. This is a trick you can do. When filling up the IELTS form, there is a space at the end which allows you to send the original IELTS cert to 5 firms/ companies/ imigration authorities. Yuo can write in whatever companies there as you want (up to 5). So i had entered my company where i work and my wifes' company too. So when the results arrived, i got 3 originals with me. They send these free of cost too. I have not been required to use them as my CC was charged but just in case.
Cheers

Canadaforall should confirm if his CC/BD has been charged/encashed.
Also, the applicant should call CIO to seek explanation to the content of the letter.
We have had enough speculations already. He should go one step further to get the REAL information.

Well, if the CC/BD is charged/cashed then this is still a sign of some progress. This will be the first communication from CIC on a case AFTER encashment. So far not only have we had no AORs, but we've not even had any rejections after encashment.

Even if it's not an AOR then it's some sign of movement.

My curiousity suggests that the letter has more in the content. If there are more info in the letter, please let us know. Please, I am not doubting the integrity of Canadaforall or anyone else.
I must say that Canadaforall has been outstanding and helpful in this forum. Thank you.

Amazing ..... this thread is near 4000 post with 73,000 + time viewed in only 3 months time.....

credit goes to unclear guidelines

Did he get it in Post? IMM5562 was supposed to be included in the original submission for London VO. So this is actually to get his application complete in a way.

Cheers

The sent it in post. I myself was surprise like i said in my early post. Yes he missed it out so he is doing it right away.

This is false alarm.

For incomplete apps the CIO sends the entire pack back highlighting the missing document/form. That is what happened in this case. I have heard another case on the forum where the applicant received the letter and the application in different mails.

I don't believe they will let him keep the position in the queue. He has not read the letter correctly or is not posting the full details. Don't waste time on this. I know we are all anxious but lets not spend 50 posts on something like this.

Best,
