Russian speaking people, (I mean Coffee and others)

Is there any news from russian forums and can you share a link with similar russian forums (if you know such)!

Hi Cur-Rozen,

here are some I am aware of:

newcanadian.ru
russiancanada.com

I googled and found these to be more or less active, you may find other interesting forums in Russian as well.

so far 2 or 3 folks from Moscow VO received AORs from the pre-26 June application.

Hi Cur-Rozen,

Thanks for your reply . May i know which guide you are saying ?

Regards,

Mayank

hello all seniors and canada1234
plz i want to discuss very important issue ..actually i did MBA marketing from allama iqbal open university at its regional campus in faisalabad in 2003 but after that i stated my job and now in march 2010, i appeared in viva voce for MBA to get degree and i passed that and they issued me transcript (in 2003 when i did MBA then i had only marks sheets for each semester)and now they also gave me degree....but problem is that, on transcript it is written:
resuts declared on march 2010
however passing semester of each subject is also written like
spring 2002
autumn 2002
spring 2001 etc........
now i am confused that canada needs our job experience after our studies completed. i have also passed all subjects in 2003 but only viva was not given ..now i did that and got transcript......problem is this, that my job is under noc code 1122, and my job is related to management and business for that MBA degree is required ..... .plz help me that will they consider my studies was complted before job experience..or that will say that due to the gap between passing all exam and viva ,,my experience will not be counted.
plz help me as there is no one who can answer me even not my university .
plz i am waiting for replies from all of u
plz help bcz due to this answer i can apply or not
regards regards

Dear friend iram1
Please go through my views. And would like like to sincerely mention that please don't feel bad or get offended with what I am going to write and suggest.. Please correct me if I am wrong (and would apologies for the same)

One should be truthful in these types of forums. We are here to help each other... so put your real difficulties and shortcomings in the forum. We will certainly try to help you out. We too don't have that much time to read / go through each & every post and share our thoughts. :o :o :( :'( . Rather go for the genuine problem and TRY to give a genuine and best possible solution.

The reason for above lecture is you are asking various questions in different-different forums that are not at all matching.

1. You initially claimed that you are a cook (under NOC 6242) with low IELTS band...and want suggestions / help in that. Later you mentioned that it was for your sister (under NOC 1221) :o. She wanted to apply for saskatchewan as a skilled worker with job offer!! You also posted that there may be a gender discrimination which will be a negative factor for your sister.

2. You also asked suggestions in medical forum...about your weak eyesight...... and that you may get rejected in medicals.

3. And now this latest... MBA qualification under NOC 1122!!
I WILL CLARIFY THIS DOUBT. Don't worry. Technically 95% people join to the required position after they get qualified for that position. But in your case you passed your exam (except viva) and got the said post and were working since last few years. Here the catch is CHC has not mentioned that the experience has to be after the qualification / degree you receive. Therefore both the points are different!! ??? And moreover.... you will get qualifying points based on 6 different criterias and all are different from one another. Nothing specific is mentioned ... You do qualify to submit the application... if whatever you have said is correct. So basically before applying - you have the transcript / qualification (one of the criteria) AND you have the said experience (another criteria). Remember that your experience must match almost 80% of the job duties mentioned under your NOC 1122.

Dear friend please clarify my doubts to the members and be honest. We are here to help genuine people.
Cheers, Anil

Instruction guide http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

This is the major document for us to study through before application!

Hi,
As the title in the eligible list of jobs is Pharmacist, and on the other hand the definition of a pharmacist in Canada referring to NOC is a bachelor's degree, I concluded that by Pharmacist they mean one who has a bachelor's.
Anyway that's just my inference, you can keep doing your research for the true answer.
Best of luck,

You might be better sending an email to your local visa office (Canadian High Commission) with your query (unfortunately I don't think CIC will answer general queries, only case specific queries). But I have not seen anything OFFICIAL which states that your work experience only counts after your studies.

Wayne.

Before i submitted my application, i had a query in regards to PCC from singapore as they wanted a letter from the immigration authority (CIC) as part of the application. So it was a chicken and egg situation. I wrote an email to the London VO and that replied to it in about a weeks time with a generic form to submit. So they do entertain general queries.

Now, the question is, before they send it to the corresponding VO are they going to send us AORs( which is what we are all waiting for) just like before? or are we going to hear from the corresponding VO for straight Medical Request? remember, we submitted the complete documents already compared to pre 6/26 MIs.

Hi Carl:

The answer was right there:

Final eligibility determination at the CIO

"The CIO will assess the applicant's submission as-is and make a final determination of eligibility. To be eligible for processing, the applicant must meet all the criteria described in the MIs. If the application is eligible for processing, the applicant will be informed and the entire application will be forwarded to the visa office requested."

Cam 1234,
Thanks for your reply...I really wanted to give up, but my younger brother wont let me do that( actually i am using his identity, noolan, since for some reasons, the Canada visa forum did not allow me to make my own ID.maybe i am using his laptop...lol) . Anyway He has dealt with them before as he just immigrated last year...he also had a long struggle , so he knows that once you give up, you are gone....my brother talked to the person for about half an hour and got every information possible for my future application...what the person said to him cannot be said on the public forum, but my brother is extremely confident about this now.....I know its hard for him, he started a new job about two months ago, so he is settling there as well, and also he has to sponsor his wife....I feel sorry for my brother..he is in this *censored word* again!!!!!

Noolan:
More power to you and your brother. I am happy to hear your brother has successfully landed and now has a job, gives the rest of us hope. As for you, it seems you have a great connection inside the CIO, find the strength to put your application back together and you will hopefully be fine.
Take care,
Cam

Hi just yesterday I reviewed the forms that I have sent. Shockingly, I noticed that I have filled up the personal history the wrong way, I started from the distant, instead of recent years. However, my cc was already charged. Do you think that this will be a ground of ineligibility?

Hi Nursemich:
I think that is part of what they check at the completeness stage. The fact that your CC was charged is very positive, so maybe they accepted the way you have written things.
Good Luck,
Cam

Hi Amro:
I think you have to write to IELTS and request another official copy, it is my understanding that it can be done.
