As earlier mentioned, The best way is to call CIO and ask them to confirm if they have sent the first application package or not. That way you will know what to do next.

i did my MBA in 2002 and in 2010 i appeared in viva and passed and got transcript and degree
on my transcript it is written
semesters
spr 2001
aut 2001
spr 2002 etc
and also written
result declared on mar 2010
it is problem that i did my job in between 2002 and 2010 ..it is 4 years experience....willl they count my experience bcz i heard that cic count only taht exp which is after compltion of your studies.will they give me 21 points for my experience.
moreover will they give me 22 points for my MBA ..plz tell me taht will they give me 21 points for exp which is between the studies from 2002 and 2010 and will i get 22 points for MBA

I guess this one is right. Please go through this thread, you will find the correct number. Canady and others have experience calling CIO lately.

Ok, I am sorry but this 100% reads like they sent your entire application back on 15th September as they considered it incomplete. They are effectively saying that if you haven't received it you need to compile a new application.

By all means phone them to confirm it - but it seems to me that CIC mailed your application back to you and Canada Post have lost it

How long would it take you to re-gather all your supporting documents? You should be able to get a copy of your IELTS results without having to re-sit. Also if you get the up-to-date visa specific checklist for your visa office you will probably find that the police certificate is no longer required at this stage.

Hopefully your employers an ex-employers may still have copies of your reference letters they can re-print?

Which NOC code are you applying under? Currently only 1122 is looking danger of being full any time soon, so if you can re-gather your documents in a couple of weeks you should have a good chance to still get another application in.

Nope. You can be sure of at least 5 pages of "WOW! COOL! GRATZ!" when the first post-June-26 applicant gets an AOR, so believe, you will know when this happens!

Could be any day now, could be weeks, could be months - nobody knows!

We applied under NOC 3131 with my wife as principal applicant, she is an industrial pharmacist.

She has a bachelor's degree in Medicinal and Pharmacutical Chemistry, and a PhD (Doctorate) in Pharmacy.

Since doctorate is a higher qualification than BSc, and her BSc is in a pharmacy-related capacity we think we are ok (2 separate immigration lawyers say we are anyway!).

I guess we need to get our AOR to know for sure if this passes the eligibility review.

Unfortunately, I fall in the 1122 NOC and I thought I would be a good candidate for immigration, as I matched their requirements and had everything going from me, from a decent IELTS score to good academic and good work experience with some bright organizations... but then things take their own course...

Ouch - I am very sorry to hear of your woes! The thing is, as of 19th October over 700 / 1000 applications under NOC 1122 had already counted towards the cap. I would think to re-gather documents and re-send the application there would now be little to no chance of getting within the cap.

However, do not give up! If you are determined to move to Canada there are many other ways to apply. Do research and plan a fact-finding holiday and see if you can arrange some interviews. If you can get a job offer then you can either try to get an LMO and apply under FSW2, or depending on the province you may be able to apply for provincial nomination after the job offer which means you won't need an LMO - then you can apply for permanent residence under PNP.

Regarding your query, I haven't read or heard anything that states that your work experience must be after your studies. As far as I am aware, you get points for your education and points for your work experience, there is no stipulation that these have to come in a certain order (since this would be very unfair on mature students who go to University after completing several years work experience after leaving school, to completely discount their valuable work experience).

Anyway, perhaps others can comment? But my view is that work experience counts as long as it is continuous and full time or equivalent, so I think it is ok to study for part of a degree, work for several years and then finish the degree.

1. i am giving IELTs on 20th Nov and will post my application till 5th Dec 2010 under category 1122 , in present scenario where 740 / 1000 applicant already selected , i should proceed my application process or not ??

Dear iram1, don't panic.

I am totally agree about work experience with Cappuccino. There is no any specification about period your experience should match. However, the amount of points depends on the number of years of your education including High School. In some countries it is less years required to complite High School or do bachelor's degree.
