My point of view is, for an application to be considered to be complete, the fees has to be PAID to the CIC. As there would have been a lot of instances where the application forms are perfect, all documents are in place and they start processing them only to find out their payment has some errors/issues while trying to en-cash.

Also, the fees that we pay now is the PROCESSING fees and so it must be paid before they start to process the applications.

So, my guess is, if an application is deemed complete, and passes the first eligibility review under MI, then it will make it to the CAP and will receive an AOR as well.

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

I agree, they cannot possibly count an application towards the cap until it passes its eligibility review, and this is AFTER CC/BD encashed.

Now, another possibility is that they are completing eligibility reviews they simply haven't sent the AORs out yet. But were this the case once they hit the 20,000 they surely would advertise this as soon as possible on their web site to save them the expense and time in having to return FSW1 applications coming in?

Well June applicants received on 25th June have received AORs now, and our CC/BDs were encashed within a few days of this, so hopefully within the next week or two the first of the post-June-26 applicants will receive AORs.

Wayne.

Ya Rabb (prayings) :) I wish things were a bit faster. It's v. hard not to know how to plan ahead or what is expected in the near future especially in such a critical decision.

A guy from may application called CIC to follow up his case coz he still has no AOR and was told that CIO is already processing August 24 applicants. I guess AORs from June and July will be coming in.

Hello every applicant after 26/6 :D

I have 2 questions :

Is there anybody from applicant of after 26/6 received AOR ? How long we should wait ?

Do you know how long they give us time from receiving AOR and requesting PCC from CHC?

Hi All,

One of my friend had a similar confusion and she had sent a query to visa office in Delhi , she got a written reply by VO Delhi saying Academic IELTS is acceptable under the new rules (post July 26, 2010)

I think CIC have given a option for general IELTS coz it is bit easier than the Academic one and chance of getting more score is higher in general compared to the academic one. I have taken both Academic for my CGFNS (Nursing exam for US) and general for Canada and I was able to score more points in general IELTS by God's grace.

Hope this would clear some confusion.

Cheers

thanks bindu for the info, atleast I can breathe some air.

Hi, the 20000 cap is for the applications right? so that number does not really corresponds to the actual eligible immigrant.

Dear members.....

I don't know how CIC is working out the whole thing .... good members are assuming and having their guesses ........ I hope these guesses (AORs starting in Oct 2010) comes true ;D ;D

But one thing is for sure TRUE ......... for pre 26/6 FSW1 cases......!!!!........... Applicants whose CC/BD has been charged .... between Aug 20 - Sept 20 (basically applicants from June) ........ are receiving AORs regularly ...... the latest one .... got 2 AORs on 12 Oct 2010!!!! Many members may be aware of this..... posted here to bring some hope/ smile on their faces. :) :) :) Be Happy ....... & Cool......

Cheers, Anil
