Hi all,I'm new on this thread.I've spent lot of time to gather information on this site.
I decided to apply under FSW stream next month.
To be honest, I 'm really worried regarding the limitation of NOC list.
1. Can anyone has an idea,if i submit application next month. Are there a gap for me?
2.Regarding the docs,Is it necessary to copy all pages of my passport?
Thanks in advance.
Chima

1. The application limit will be crossed very soon given the volume of applications CIC receives. If the application limit is reached your application fee will be refunded. No Worries.
2. You need to send all the photocopy of all the pages of the passport.

Thanks in advance.

People who are preparing to apply, please note this case. An application was returned for the non availability of spouse's BC and that the applicant did not write the date the photos are taken on the back of the photographs.

Please take care to avoid such mistakes while filing your application.

Hmm I assume the date requirement is visa office specific? We are through London office and there was no requirement to write the date on the back of the photographs, only that we write our names, date of birth, height and eye colour on ONE the photographs for each of us.

Oh yes, sorry i forgot to mention that :( :(

The date requirement for photos is VO specific for New Delhi(India).

Hi People,

For any document that you are not matching exactly how the instruction guide says, please write an explanation letter for that section & attach it to your application (do NOT forget to sign the letter with Date).

I am going to publish one new thread about my application pkg. It will help you to clear lods of confusion. My application had a 320+ pages weighing about 2.5 KG.

Dear Harvin

Welcome to this thread..... 8) 8)

(1) Understood your query........ You have to attach the original application form (IMM0008) & all its related schedules / other forms along with the CIO checklist. Keep the CIO checklist on the top (as a forwarding letter) and arrange all the forms (in original) as per the list + photocopy of the data pages of PA's PP + IELTS TRF (original) + required no. of photographs + BD (original). This will be one set. Make other set for visa office specific requirement - But you don't have to attach any of the above mentioned documents again (except photocopies of PA + spouse + dependents). You can mention that these documents are attached with the CIO checklist. Don't put one more copy of these documents / forms.
(2) Funds - If you are going for Int.BD ..... it can be done at any bank with FOREX div. / facility. You need not have an account with that bank!!! You can even approach Cox & Kings or Thomas Cook ...they are also doing. Don't forget to carry your ID proof + PP + proof of fees requirement (copy of fee payment form). Don't have any idea about the 'money order from USPS'

Hope it cleared your doubts. ;D ;D ...send your application at the earliest... All the best

Cheers, Anil

Hi Anil,

Thanks for your quick reply. When you say 'except for photocopies of PA, Spouse, Children' (highlighted in 'red') - are you talking about 'Schedule-1' AND 'Additional Information' sheet/IMM5406'? If not, what is this document you are referring to?

USPS - is the equivalent of Indian post office money order. They do offer international money orders, but limit it to USD 700. So i thought i would get two $550 international money orders. Does it make sense?

Thanks

The return of ved2003's application for the photograph related reason may also provide some hint on the progress of the post 25 June applications. While ved2003 is not listed in the Post 25 June spreadsheet, a search of the nick suggests that the person is a post 25 June applicant. Also based on the information provided by post 25 June applicants, who had their applications returned, all the documents that were submitted in a sealed envelope (e.g. transcripts, and the photographs) were returned intact.

This seems to suggest that they have already started the “Eligibility Review”...hopefully! ;D ;D ;D

Thanks Temasek and Shadab,

I guess i'm relieved of hard work now ;).. I must admit that i have nothing to do now but to have the fingers CROSSED and researching about the applications on and off :o :o. And of course do my bit to the forum which helped me to file the application faster :) :)

Hope we all make it into the 1000/20000 cap this year :D :D and meet in Canada next year ;) ;)

Thanks,

The problem as I see it, is that the "application limit" may well have already been crossed. However, CIC have no way of telling this until they have completed the eligibility reviews on at least 20,000 post June 26 applications, and all the evidence currently suggests they have yet to start them.

So by the time CIC deems 20,000 eligible for processing, they could well have actually received many more applications that this (30,000 or 40,000 etc).
