Okay guys, I had a bad luck again. My CC is declined again. I just had an hour long argument with my f--kin WACHOVIA bank. They said sorry it was fraud prevention. Anyways I abused them as much as i could.

Now my question is, will CIO try to charge my card again tomorrow or they just try once?

Please do reply.

I have heard of people having 2 attempts made before they decline.
Best of luck, if it is declined you may still have time to re-submit your application again when they return it, it might be better to get a banker's draft if that happens?

you are right, wayne.. for the benifit of everyone here.. here are details..

NOC 1111
received application: June 14
CC charged: August 28
AOR: Sept 29 (2hours ago)

Hoping guys.. you get your AORs too (soonest possible)! ;D

thanks wayne...so May and June applicants are receiving AOR's.. that means the CIO is going in order of the months the apps were received(seems as of now since none of the post 6/26 have got any AOR)... lets see of OCT brings any good new for us all...i am thinking this because july would have been a real light month for the cio due to rule changes

hi, Cappuccino, normally how do we know our CC was attempted to be charged? i thought when other people want to charge our credit card, our bank will ring us to confirm, otherwise how do we know that? please clear this, thanks

hi, Manni1985, that is sad to you. but how do you know they have attempted two time? your bank should contact you and ask you if you like to release the money to CIO, otherwise how do you know that? thanks

hi, Manni1985
i rang my bank, they told me that bank will not reject someone charge your card unless two situations, 1. you inform them to do so, 2. if the charge is over the limit of card, for example, your card limit is $3000, and you have spent some money only left $500, but CIO will charge $800 from you, in this situation, the bank will reject.

Hi - one case I heard of was after they'd been rejected so they phoned the bank who told them that 2 attempted charges had been made.

Since there really isn't anything you can do about it until you either get a cleared charge through, or you get your application back, there's not much you can do now really other than wait it out for a few days. Fully explain to your bank the charge you are expecting, exactly how much it will be for and who it will be (Receiver General for Canada).
