Hi Guys,

Quick Question. Was anybody's application received by Glen Miller?

Thanks

I've seen quite a few posters on the forum say their application was received by Glen Miller, yes.

I think Paul Robar, Glen Miller and also sometimes they just put their Christian names as Paul or Glen. These seem to be the main warehouse guys for receiving courier apps.

Wayne.

Okay thanks.

I was just making sure it went to right place.

Okay guys, my 2nd application date is today, Sep 21, 2010.

Let's see what happen this time.

Thanks for your support.

Good luck Maani1985 :)

CIC hasn't published any timeframes for post-June-26 applicants yet so nobody really knows yet for sure.

NOTE: Processing times for Federal Skilled Worker applications received on or after June 26, 2010, are not yet available. For applications sent before June 26, 2010, the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is currently working on applications received up to June 25, 2010.

the above appears to support your 'gut feeling' timing. I know this is purely speculative, but my guess now is there would be another week on tidying up pre-26 June files, then little re-grouping, induction session on post-26 June process and another batch of AORs just like first CCs/BDs charges, say within 3 weeks which makes it around mid October

Dear manni1985,
Mine also was recieved by the same person on 2nd of September. Good luck this time and i wish u all the best.

my gut-feeling is i will get my AOR by 10th October :D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

Well it would make sense to send AORs by email if the applicant specified an email address. Cheaper and faster than snail mail!

However my estimation for AORs is mid-October, I don't think we'll be seeing any for another 3 weeks, that's my gut feeling. I am happy to be proven wrong though! :)

Maani,

Just wondering why you took so long to resend your application. Was it just the payment issue or there were more requirements from CIO.

Also initially i thought you had sent a demand draft, because i have a similar issue, the bank made a problem in my draft. I am still waiting for the my application to come back....guess the snail mail will take 3 weeks to reach Asia.

Thanks

Guys, I don't want to discourage you, but I think you should wait a bit longer than mid of october to see first AOR.
There is a huge backlog of May-June applicants who don't receive their AOR yet.
I want to inform you that for 1-2 month there are no AORs at all (just 3-5 AOR for april applicants for 2 months).
The reason? Because of the great amount of post-26-june applicants, all stuff is now processed the initial phase of your applications (errors + CC).
After they fill the CAP, they stop receiving any applications and start processing backlog (May, June - who is waiting already 4 months for 1st AOR).
It will be great if all May-June applicants receive AOR to the end of October (may be mid of November).
And only after them it is your turn in queue.
That's only my thoughts. Please keep patience :) good luck to everybody.

I got my aplpication back on 14th Sep, I sent it back with new CC number on 15th.

CIO Received it today (It takes 3-5 business days to get there)

The reason i said i had same problem as your's because i was talking in the sense of error made by bank. But it is not different from your issue.

one member in the forum "JUNE APPLICANT 2010" called in CIO.

CIO confirmed this:
I called CIO for second and third time :

They told me that encashment means that they have started processing your app. 10 weaks after encashment they make decision and you can expect your AOR .IT means 11th of nov for me. I asked about recent delays , they told it is due to high volume.
