The number each application assigned is given at the moment application received. That means that Maani's application got number 746 on September 1st. Pretty much look like that the limit for NOC 1122 is just about to be reached.

My application was received by CIO yesterday (signed by Paul), the CC hasn't been charged yet. If Maani is correct they should charge CC (try to charge) today-tomorrow.

I will keep you guys updated. Cheers.

Please also remember, even if Maani's theory regarding the number system is correct, that this is only the number of applications RECEIVED. CIC website says the cap limits applies to applications "considered for processing", and a returned application is not counted even as being received.

So we need to guess what % of rejections are included. If the number for a NOC is 746, for example, then the number of applications considered for processing within that NOC hitherto may only be 500 or so.

After all these new updates 8) and analysis 8), i thought, 2151 Cool is really a hard :o :o to fill NOC, but then the 20000 CAP :-X :-X would fill up faster :'( :'( :-\ :-\ :-X :-X :'( :'( than ever..

BTW has anyone looked into the actual NOC list, as to how many NOCs are actually very popular and the most sought after?
As for me, my observations and ratings are,

Very rare applicants and so hardly they will reach the 1000 limit, at least before December 2010.

Hi Indira

I too was guessing on the same line....with a slight difference...... Following professions have got a real boost in and around India with proper qualification.....

2121 Biologists and Related Scientists
4151 Psychologists
6241 Chefs
6242 Cooks
7312 Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics

whereas of course...remaining have got practical (on the job) skills... but not much of educational background..... which again counts for education, proper/ legal experience and english proficiency (IELTS exam).
Asian peninsula have got the maximum % age of immigrants (with No / minimum qualification for most of the listed NOCs)
BUT again in developed countries even a carpenter / electrician / plumber have to have the required (genuine) qualifications..... AND the record shows very less %age of immigration!!!!

On the other hand..... following are not so heavy in demand list (as you have shown)...... >:( >:( this is purely my opinion..... 8) 8)

3113 Dentists
2151 Architects
3111 Specialist Physicians
3112 General Practitioners and Family Physicians
3131 Pharmacists
3142 Physiotherapists

Mainly because all these are professionals and will be under regulated jobs. So they have to clear the Canadian exams (minimum 2 years) to get into same type of profession. And I tell you medical exams ARE tough....don't know much about architects. Since last 7-8 years not more than 900 immigrants are dentists..... Though this time they have given a chance to dentists too.... but I don't think that it will even go to 500...... and same applies to others also.

What I feel is initially (1 - 1.5 months) people were gathering all documents...getting different responses... getting their doubts cleared.... so there was slack in the receipt of applications. After that for next 1-1.5 months... applicants from all over the world got the air of confidence and started applying...... this brought a sudden spurt of applications in their respective fields ...... as soon as they reach 1000 cap.....it will be closed .... they are almost there.......
NOW again there will be a lull ........... because all the interested candidates must have filled / accepted / returned (cap reached)................

As you say Long story short :P :P :P :P ... we have a good chance...... don't worry.... but do hurry :o :o :o
Cheers, Anil

Hi friends,

There are many names still in the spreadsheet, that we need to know if they paid by DD or Credit card.
Kindly send your updates on the same ASAP please.

Till 16th Sept, we can see that all the Credit Cards (as mentioned in the table) have already been charged for the files received by CIO till 8th Sept
(the last CC being of Nursemich)

But one Credit Card (of 'Inexperienced') is yet to be charged though the file reached on 5th Aug itself.

Once we have everyone's mode of payment updated in the table, we can see if there are others whose CCs are also yet to be charged.

Thanks!

Mine as well, I paid with CC and file received 25th Augst. I am sure there are more people with the same issue... I am getting nervous! because I prefer to received my file back weeks ago and have time to resend it again. Now, with all the guessings about caps and number of rejections I am not quite sure I could do that.

Hi Anil,

Yes, agreed :), I guess we are allowed to guess, there are not more than 10 NOCs in total, which have a good number of people 1. with validated educational qualifications, 2. Validated Experience, 3. Interest to immigrate to Canada, 4. have 67 points, 5. Get through the IELTS with maximum scores.

So, that would come upto 10000(as per the 1000 cap);

The rest of the NOCs(Maximum 7), like Architects, Dentists, pharmacists do have people, but not that much so, let's assume 700 applications for each of them, and that comes to 4900. That covers 14900, and leaves options for upto 425 applications for the not so popular NOCs :)

So, same bottom line :) We will have a chance to make it to the caps, as long as we launch the applications before December(unless we hear our NOCs filled up from CIC :'( :'()

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

it was from INDUSIND Bank....we just gave him the money it was he who got the BD thing done...he forwarded me the email yesterday which he recieved from some person (may b a bank employee) dated 16th sept....so i think the thing that it takes nearly 1 week to know whether dd is encashed is true coz i called him abt 10 days ago and he said he would inform me as soon as he gets to know abt it..

Dear meialua,
I can understand ur anxiety. Imagine the case of 'Inexperienced', whose file reached on 5th Aug, and his CC is yet to be charged!!

Kindly update meialua's payment mode as CC.
Please keep updating your mode of payment friends, lets complete the table quick
Thanks!

yes, visa office may be Sydney, NS ( New South Wales) Australia, and CIO should be Sydney, NS( Nova Scotia) Canada. they are different.

Hi Meialua,

Yes I think you hit the nail on the head with this. It's not so bad if your application is returned immediately so you can chance to correct it and re-send it before the NOC fills up.

But for those who have been waiting many weeks without card being charged or BD cashed, they are getting nervous, because if they CIC is sitting on them and then sends them back in October, there is a lot less chance of re-sending and getting in before the caps fill up.

:o :o :o Hi Indira..... I was going through your reply .... and then got this shock ;D ;D ;D :o :o
"we launch the applications before December"
No way .... it has to be before Oct 15 ....... I know even you can't take that risk and go ahead with the procedure leisurely ......

This is for all the members ....... if you are in POPULAR list ...... SEND the application NOW......... & ....... if you are in NOT SO POPULAR list ...... SEND the application by 15 Oct ........ (OR wait for next year) :o 8) :P :P 8) :o
