The number each application assigned is given at the moment application received. That means that Maani's application got number 746 on September 1st. Pretty much look like that the limit for NOC 1122 is just about to be reached.

My application was received by CIO yesterday (signed by Paul), the CC hasn't been charged yet. If Maani is correct they should charge CC (try to charge) today-tomorrow.

I will keep you guys updated. Cheers.

Dear all,

Does anyone have idea about how much new rules application have reached to CIO ? 20000 ? ..... Limit... Any idea.

congratulations nursemich..i guess we really are all in this together..we have same noc and visa office..maybe we can keep track of each other and give updates from time to time..:-)

Congratulations ulet.. ;)

Congratulations :)

After all these new updates 8) and analysis 8), i thought, 2151 Cool is really a hard :o :o to fill NOC, but then the 20000 CAP :-X :-X would fill up faster :'( :'( :-\ :-\ :-X :-X :'( :'( than ever..

BTW has anyone looked into the actual NOC list, as to how many NOCs are actually very popular and the most sought after?

As for me, my observations and ratings are,

Very rare applicants and so hardly they will reach the 1000 limit, at least before December 2010.

0811 Primary Production Managers (Except Agriculture)
1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners
2121 Biologists and Related Scientists
3215 Medical Radiation Technologists
3222 Dental Hygienists & Dental Therapists
3233 Licensed Practical Nurses
4151 Psychologists
4152 Social Workers
6241 Chefs
6242 Cooks
7215 Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades
7216 Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades
7241 Electricians (Except Industrial & Power System)
7242 Industrial Electricians
7251 Plumbers
7265 Welders & Related Machine Operators
7312 Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics
7371 Crane Operators
7372 Drillers & Blasters - Surface Mining, Quarrying & Construction
8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service

Competitive NOCs, the first one being the most sought after :) and then the competitiveness gradually declines.

1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management
3113 Dentists
3152 Registered Nurses
0631 Restaurant and Food Service Managers
3111 Specialist Physicians
3112 General Practitioners and Family Physicians
2151 Architects
3131 Pharmacists
3142 Physiotherapists

This is only my very wild guess, and so people you are welcome to suggest your views on this :)

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Hi Mayank: If you go back to pg 77 you will see notes from Maani and that will give you some idea of the "suspected" numbers. Keep reading through some more of the posts as there are some clever interpretations of these numbers. It would be nice if CIO gave us some official word on the numbers BEFORE reaching 20,000.

Hi everyone,
am new to these forums,
.....
.....
what do u think guys? doesn't that make more sense?
Dear basmalahh

Welcome to the thread...
That was a great observation and a good counter-act... :D :D ;) ;) ;) .... this also makes sense....... BUT the only hitch is the level of rejections that you have assumed is too high. Means ....700 odd numbers were rejected for 1122 :o :oOR on the other hand if you are saying that it is the total no. of rejected applications........ then it is possible........BUT (again) why do they want to count and show that on the paper....... instead they will count the number of approved application received for that particular NOC. Moreover, till now nobody has received their AOR...... it is very much possible that this number has been put to keep the particular file in its old que instead of re-examining the file and giving it a fresh number.

Whatever is the situation friend.... :-[ :-[ :-X :-X ....it hardly affects the balance # of approved application..... already crossed 13,300 odd.....that too as on 2nd Sept........ The BOMB is ticking..... :o :o :o

All the best friends

Cheers, Anil

I think in October the CAP will be filled and CIC announce that they stopped receiving applications (may be Nov,Dec).
After that, process of 26-06 (July,August,Sept) application will be paused.
There is a queue of May, June applicants. Firstly, they will be processed, then consequently July, August.

May, June applications is not processing now (all people waiting for their first AOR for 4 monts).
It is caused by need to fill CAP ASAP, as they fill CAP, they continue process May, June.

Good luck to all :)

Hi friends,

There are many names still in the spreadsheet, that we need to know if they paid by DD or Credit card.
Kindly send your updates on the same ASAP please.

Till 16th Sept, we can see that all the Credit Cards (as mentioned in the table) have already been charged for the files received by CIO till 8th Sept
(the last CC being of Nursemich)

But one Credit Card (of 'Inexperienced') is yet to be charged though the file reached on 5th Aug itself.

Once we have everyone's mode of payment updated in the table, we can see if there are others whose CCs are also yet to be charged.

Thanks!

Hey Faani

Long time no see. Hope everything is good at your end. Did you resubmit your case? We all were praying for the same :).

Also could you please throw some light on the following procedure by CIO.... like your number in Red / green on left / right side of your application???? I am quoting our other good member's observation...... whose application was also returned like yours.. (but on different grounds) ......... Your comments will help us to follow CIO's timeline ....... 8) 8). Take care.

Cheers, Anil

Guys , please update your mode of payment so that we can have a better idea on the trend of payments being encashed by CIO.
Thanks!!

Thanks canady for the payment mode update.

Waiting for others to respond too.

Thanks Anil, :)

Yes, I meant from the total no. of rejected applications for all NOCs. Anyway, in either case - as you mentioned- the bomb IS ticking. I hope we get to apply before it's too late...
good luck to everyone ..
