Guys,

didn't you realize that till now we haven't any charging/cashing for CC/DD for specific NOCs like 3131 ?!
is this just a coincidence ? or this means that they may not started reviewing those NOCs at all ??? because if so, then the rule of "if we didn't get a feedback within a month so this means a good sign" is a fake rule :o :o :o

We are NOC 3131 and I too have noticed that no-one has reported their card being charged under this NOC. However, I don't see how they can be processing these by NOC, since they clearly said that applications would be considered for processing by the date they arrive at CIC.

If they gave earlier focus to particular NOCs this would give an unfair disadvantage since the 20000 limit could be hit before the other NOCs could be fully processed.

I suspect the delays some people are seeing is because their file is not straightforward (i.e. not obvious rejection but perhaps some borderline documents they need to look into).

Will post here as soon as our banker's draft is cashed.
Wayne.

Hi Maani,

Very sorry to hear about this. Can you share with us the reasons they stated for your application being rejected?
Is this something you can rectify and re-apply?

Best wishes,
Wayne.

There was some problem with Credit Card of maani1985.
After he sent his application, his bank informed that the Credit Card will be discontinued & another card will be issued.

Though he did send other details, but I think there was no way the updated info could be connected to his Application.

Sadly enough, his application was returned.
After he informed of the file return, I have not found maani1985 answering anyone here. I am sure he'll be busy sending his application back to CIO, and he'll be back here soon.

Dear maani, we are waiting for you to inform all of us that you have already sent your application to CIO,,!!

Good Luck!!

OK, sorry to hear of this but hopefully he will be able to resubmit and get back in the queue very soon.

The silver lining on the cloud is that we at least now know they are starting to look at September applications, so should be a maximum of 2 weeks between CIO receiving your application and at least initial processing of it.

I still wonder why they are being so slow with AORs if they are so fast to process + take payment?

Wayne.

Cappuccino: you are right concerning the 20000 but i think (as the CIO mentioned) each NOC will have 1000 limit so maybe they are working in each NOC as a separate category. ???

guys i am not pessimistic, i just try to be realistic

Dear Cappuccino,

AOR coming late or soon does not affect the total processing time.
I read it somewhere in this forum, that it takes 45-90 days for AORs.

But looking at maani's case, his file reached on 26/8 and is already sent back. That was quick!
I am sure he can quickly re-file his application & still have a good chance.

Good Luck!!

Dear Maani1985

I am sure you may be busy in collecting further documents (if any) and for the correction in payment options...

You will be reducing the tension / frustration of so many members if you can tell us (as previously you DID), the mark CIO has reached NOW ;D ;D :o :o

All the best.... take care.

Cheers, Anil

2Future,

First of all congrats on taking the first step. ....
....
Don't discourage yourself. So far, CIO got only 7600 application (Inside Info), but try to complete everything before Oct 1, 2010. ...
....
Also, I am curious when did you sent your application? when did CIO received it? when did they returned it? when did you got it back?

Hi Maani1985 - I'm curious as to how you got to know the current number of applications received, or was it approved by CIO?

Dear all,

Please provide me the link for Job search & Job Consultant in Canada.

Dear blueray333,
Sadly maani1985 has received his application back due to some Credit Card issue (he is yet to comment on the reasons of his file return)
He must be busy re-sending the same to CIO.

Hope he'll soon announce his resending his application to CIO here.

Hi canada121. that is sad to hear. I hope he sends it back fast.

By the way, I was more into the last message that anil posted. anil has quoted a message from maani1985. he mentioned something about an inside info.

Yeah I saw that and replied on its original thread.

Not even the immigration lawyers know how many apps have been received, and CIC have not published any information regarding this. The only way of getting this information is from within CIC. Perhaps he has a friend who works in the CIO?

Having your application returned is a very sad day. I know it happened to us.You just have to stay strong and reapply. Our app was returned due to a error from our agent. Now my husband has just done his ielts exam,we are awaiting results, then will be reapplying. There is many wonderful people on this forum, they have gave us so much information and support. So if you are unlucky enough to have your app returned, sort out the problem and resend it. You will get lots of kind words and help on here. Wishing everyone the best of luck, stay strong and keep the forum going. ;)
