Dear Coffee,

Many congrats on this development!!

It always feels nice to be a first in such kind of waiting process. Doesn't it ?

If you don't mind, can you please share your job title you mentioned in the application. I assume you are from NOC 1122.

Thanks & Regards

Hello Gur2010,

I apply under NOC 1122, and mentioned actual job titles that I held during the required period.

dear All,

Can any one let me know what is CAIPS ? How one can get access to it ? Please let me know.

Mayank

Dear Coffee,

A very imp. question, did you send experience certificates from your employers which are mentioning in details your main duties in each job title & matches the NOC ??? because i read from another applicant that the CIO returned to him the application because his experience certificates didn't mention in details his main duties in each job title.
what about the required notarized contracts, did you send them too ???

Thanks & Congratulations

hey people,

Great news from few fellow to be CANADIANS today :) Congrats and keep us posted :)

Can someone confirm if they have heard something like CIC/VO asking for the Form 16 from Indians to prove employment? Just heard from a forum member that he submitted the Form 16 as per his consultant's suggestion. Thumb rule : The more documents to prove your employment, the more stronger the application becomes ;)

We are planning to send out the up to date reference letters, employment contract/appointment letters, 2 latest payslips. Would this suffice? Have anyone sent more documents regarding work experience?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Well it sounds like those who are being rejected are finding out fairly quickly. So it may simply mean they are having to spend more time processing your application, perhaps an item of your documentation is borderline etc, I don't know.

Judging by how quickly rejections have been coming back, I'd say it isn't anything to worry about if they haven't returned your application yet.

I agree Wayne. Moreover, either CIO is charging CCs in random order or they r going according to VO. Thats my one point of view. Since I have not seen anyone from VO New Delhi getting their CC charged. Or may most of them have paid via DD.

Guys, I created a Google spreadsheet for tracking our applications. Please add or update your status there

We paid by banker's draft, so the only way we can know if it's "cashed" is by checking with the bank - since the money left our account the moment we checked with the bank.

Think we will wait until the end of this month, then check with the bank to see if it has been cashed.

Hello canady,

experience letters from my past and current employer(s) mentioned my main duties in details as were actually performed. the officer at CIO would then correlate these to NOC, I believe. I did not send notarized contracts, only experience letters, and my VO check list also did not require contracts to be submitted. sequence was: letters, if no letter then contract, if no contract then explanation as to why I could not provide them. one of my employers closed office and I wrote in the cover letter the fact that I could not provide any proof of employment with that company (was of little relevance to my NOC though)
