STRANGE STRANGE AND DOUBTFUL

Can you please send ur scaned copy of rejection to my email. I strongly doubt authenticity of ur case, I dont know if u r second Saleem or John they have created PANIC 3 weeks ago.

How come they worked on ur application while still they are working on pre 26/6. I really doubt ur statement.

I am sorry if u right but please do send me ur scanned copies on my mail i will not publish and take out ur file no from that. It will be helpful to all forum members..

anyway please send it so every one will be satisfied, meanwhile I think everyone will start working for b/certificate as it was not required earlier. go ahead and acquire as much documents u can and leave any room for rejection bcoz of documents.

I think that they may make preliminary completeness check to the received application ,as one of my friends in Saudi Arabia told me that his friend's application has been returned to him shortly after sending it to the CIO because he didn't send his and his wife's transcripts.
Anyway,I think that everything is going to be relieved by the mid. of the next week.

Dear yoyojaab, in addition to the IELTS result card, all others that I've mentioned are a part of the VO-specific checklist. And according to the CIO checklist, we need to send in the documents required in the CIO checklist as well as the VO-specific checklist... Please comment!

Yes,you r exactly right. I've sent the docs on VO specific checklist along with my pakage to CIO.
Carefully,please do not send original docs except PCC and IELTS score.Moreover,sending all docs required on checklist is neccessary.

People, can someone confirm for me again, that only the IELTS and PCC are the originals required by CIO? The latest employment reference letters needed to be in original, but confused if we need to retain those originals for sending it to VO later. BTW, are we supposed to send any documents at all to the VO after our AOR? This is not mentioned in the OP6 and fairly confusing. What about the university transcripts? If we send one set to the CIO and VO again asks for documents, we will not have sealed transcripts right? In that case we need to get at least 2 sets of sealed transcripts from the university?

Please suggest.

CB is my friend. CB is telling the truth. I have seen the letter from CIO.
It is unfortunate that the application was returned because of date of birth certificate. It has not been rejected - but returned because of 'incompleteness of documents'.
At the time of filing the application, we never imagined that this could be reason because New Delhi office has been accepting 10th and 12th certificates for the date of birth.

I suggested that CB put this thread up so that we could get real advice from people about what needs to be done now.
I don't know about the other folks who created a stir earlier. But this is real.

I have been on this forum for more than 2 years now and can vouch for the authenticity of the information shared by CB.
I know both of us would never share incorrect information or misuse the forum. This forum has given us so much and I am sure even now the forum will be able to come up with some suitable course of action!

New Delhi VO checklist mentions----

For you, your spouse or common-law partner:

•Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.


I have applied under FSW post-26 JUne 2010....Do i also need to send my spouse's Original Transcripts to CIO & VO New Delhi....?
or Only principal applicant's Original Transcripts are required?
I have sent only mine notarised transcript to CIO and attested copies of my spouse's marks cards....

If we go through the new OP6 manual the VO related documents ( Date of birth etc.......) are only open once the application is processed, ( completeness check of all the field + payment received) it means the file number is allocated.

Then how come CB got this rejected based on DOB.....somehow not convinced

I just received back my complete application. My application reached CIO on 9th August 2010 and they processed it on 13th August 2010. They have returned back my application indicating incompletion of my application. They are not accepting date of Birth mentioned on metric certificate.

Please advice:

1. Incase of non availability of date of birth certificate from municipal coorporation - what should be submitted
2. Anyone got their application returned so far ????????????

I'm not here to vouch for CB, but i guess he may be right :-\. You never know until miracles happen ??? :

It is mentioned in the OP6 that they will first screen the application and documents, as to whether they have duly completed all the forms, enclosed all the required documentation, whether they are complying to the new MI(29 NOCs) etc.. They have all rights to return the application if the documentation is not complete.

Only after this process, will the applications enter processing and assessing to mu understanding.

How long did it take CIO to return your application. You can count from the days it reached the CIO office? Just checking how long it takes to return the application if anything goes wrong.

CB I am sorry to hear this. But the way CIO works is by giving a file number along with the letter. Did they give u a file number? Did u get an email or just a letter?
