I have got GCMS notes, from that i can know everything is passed only i am not able to know the status of Security check.

Even i got reply of my CSE, as below:

" this is in response to your recent enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case."

Now i do not know what to do...just wait & Watch.

Hello My Friends from India, who has experience in renewing the passport in India, as my son's passport is still in process after 45 days, online status is showing "Verification report has been submitted by Commissioner and passport printing is in progress", someone please tell me how many more days, I can expect to wait to receive his passport...

I know this is not the right forum to ask this question but as in this thread I have so many Indian friends so please guys...

Hi Ritu

Could you share which passport office you applied?
Normal passport processing time is less than 2 months. But if the
passport office have more applications to process it may go up to 3 months
and if your PO is Cochin, it may even take more time, as one of their printing system is not working
Most probably you will get it within 10 to 20 days.

Hi all members,

I have benefitted too much from your useful advise. Can you please guide me here for a little issue. My case is under processing since Feb 2012. I have submitted updated docs, PCCs' and two photos of each family member in the last month. Now,God has blessed me with children so;
1. Do i need to just inform them or resend updated forms.
2. The passports and B-form will take time to be issued. Especially, it would require the baby to keep eyes open during photo which is close to impossible for infants as they awake in their own times. Is it compulsory to have passports for infants or it could be submitted later on.
3. The fees draft is required to be sent to CIO Nova Scotia, Canada or CHC London which is processing my case.
4. How to meet the conditions of updated immigration pictures for infants with eyes open etc

THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN THROUGH THIS STAGE PLEASE SUGGEST ABOUT THE ABOVE THINGS IN MY MIND.

REGARDS,

REGARDS,
1. Inform them first.
2. I got my baby's passport within 2 weeks of his birth. You just have to wake him up. I did just for a few seconds. Passports and birth certificates are important.
3.The fees are sent to the VO. Wait till they request it.
4. Just wake the baby up. photographers know what to do.
