Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

This wait is killing us. I live in Buffalo, work on H1B, have been commuting back and forth to Waterloo twice a week for last 2.5 years (where my wife works). Now Buffalo office is closed, not sure what's going to happen. Hoping to hear something soon from Ottawa pilot office. I am finally considering to move to Canada on work permit/open WP, have to see how it goes. Good luck to you all.

Have people received an email notifying them that their file has been transferred from Buffalo VO to the Ottawa case processing pilot office? I haven't received any updates and I am worried about my application being lost.

Absolutely no communication in regards to if applications have been transferred to any other office from Buffalo. Nor any indication as to when they will start looking at these applications. I have waited long enough in Skilled Worker route that I now qualify for Canada Experience Class. Any idea how long it take if someone is to apply in Canada Experience Class? Well I see the CIC statistic says 18 months. I am 2 times over the CIC statistic for Skilled Worker category.

Dear Mahek, I didn't receive anything from Buffalo or Ottawa saying that my application forms are in Ottawa, but I emailed Ottawa and they told me that it is there, in Ottawa. But no movement! It is still RBVO.

When one comes across cases where the application is stuck somewhere for years in some case with no way of knowing what is happening I wonder if it would be better to try with multiple applications it I am serious about this whole thing. One cannot quit after paying into the CPP scheme, got involved in the other pension schemes, RRSP blah blah. So considering all those at stake here, one is forced to pay the power players here (CIC, lawyers, notaries, translators etc) some more fees and increase one’s chances of getting out of this rote many of the temporary workers find themselves in.

once more than 2 weeks and their response had no information, and I tried again and it took about 5 days to have a response.

I see that you have applied in Feb 2011. Should be getting some news soon.. Just have some more patience.

Hello All,

Happy news for me!! Movement.. Movement.. Movement.. on my file.

I sent an email to NYVO asking the status of my application last week Tuesday and I received a reply saying that they are waiting for my medical results. When I replied that I haven't received any request to do so, NYVO replied saying that they would send it shortly. This was yesterday. I got an email today saying that the medical and RPRF package has been sent and I would receive it in 2 weeks time. Good to hear some news.

I don't know why.. I get updates only if I ask for it. It was the same case with buffalo VO and now, NYVO.

Any how, happy to hear the news.

I hope the rest of the process will be smooth enough.

Hi Raj,

I am in a similar situation...most likely there should be no issues with Medicals now...if you see that magic line on your status .

I hope we get our passport request soon.

No date is specified...no additional line is there

What does it means....are the medical clear???

how long it will take for decision made as passports have already been sent
