Hi all forum members,

I have a question here..now my status is in process since 10 months and we are waiting for the medicals...after 4 months by God's willing we will have a new baby..my question is ,is there any preparation step I should do before medical issue or before baby born to speed up the process a little bit.

Thanks

Hi,
10 months is a long time to be "In process" my friend. I'll advise you to ask them "nicely" for update on your case and say tell them the EDD for your baby in the request. There is no harm in trying and nothing is lost by asking for update anyway.
Best of luck!

Thanks IRG for your advice...

I didn't advised them about the baby , what do you think is it better to tell them about the baby ? in this case they will postpone the medicals till the baby is due. what is the best practice for this situation ?

Hi, you can nt speed up process, unfortunately, at all,

but you should advice LVO asap when new baby is due, so that they will send all meds correctly for all family members in one go, and submit all additional required docs for new baby after the birth.

if you already advised them, then they r just waiting for your baby's docs, then after the receipt of everything they'll proceed with issue of med forms.

;)

Thank you Oly for your wishes and advice , I've already asked them about my status update many times , last one was before 5 days ,they replied with a generic message , the application is under review or background check...

do you think it is better to notify them about the expected due date of the baby ?

In my opinion, you should:

If you wont tell them - and they'll issue MD before baby's birth, then they'll find out from your DMP anyway that your wife is due and when, and it will delay the process even further, moreover your wife wont be able to do X ray, not advisable for pregnancy. And your Meds wont be completed, as VO insists to undergo medical exam together including newborn baby, so that Visa date will be the same for everyone.

If you will tell them - they'll update your file, and will be waiting for baby's docs, and after the receipt they'll issue all Forms together straight away in one go.

First of all "Congratulations SShiv on your promotion".... :)

Yes, what you are thinking is absolutely correct. Since each LMO is tied to " Employer, Designation, role, pay and place" , your employer has to go for another LMO and fufil the requirements of recruitment process. Yes, he has to show recruitment efforts.

Mitali

Thanks Mitali.

RBVO since Apr 2011 at BVO. No news at all.

Shiv

Hi Basmalahh,

yea our timeline are similar.I have sent them many inquiries all reply that application is under background checks.it has been now 10 months since my application went into processing. Last reply from them was yesterday with a generic message that the application may be under review or background checks. Hopefully we will get our medicals soon.we have nothing to do but waiting and waiting .... ::)

Ahmed

Yeah.. I am waiting.. :(

Frustrating..

Anyway, I was thinking about your situation, that it's quite unlikely that they would finish your visa before your baby arrives. So, I guess you won't loose anything by telling them about the baby. Rather, it would probably save you time as they would prepare your child's MRs with your own.

I don't think that it would delay your papers any further & even if it did, it won't matter much with you because your wife won't be able to travel in her last couple of months & will need time after to rest. So, you won't be doing your landing soon anyway.

Best regards & hope to hear good news for me, you & all those who are waiting..
& congratulations to all who have reached their goals.. :)

Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi all,

i have a doubt...

for few of my friends and forum mates, they got telephonic verification call ,employer verification before the status change to "in process"...means their status changed to "in process" after all these verification over phone...one of my friend got interview call on June 21st one week before.his tele phonic verification happened on october 2011..and in process from jan 2012.one of my other friend did'nt heard anything after that verification call (before the status change)....

in my case , the verification of my educational documents and and other requests initiated after showing "in process " status. i did nt get call till date...its almost 7 months of "in process"....this info i got in gcms note..before changing the status to in process they have done my eligibility review...education,work exp, ielts,POF etc.....after all these only they changed the status.

as per my knowledge, after shawn "in process",they will do only background checks only, exp etc..am i right???...why it is happening controversial?

pls share ur thoughts....
rgds,

ann
