We got similar time line. When did you send medicals. Does your Ecas shows medical received. Not sure when to expect ppr....

Meds done 03/16 , sent to Ottawa on 03/27 , ecas shows meds received.
Is there any pattern or average time-frame after meds to get ppr from NY office?

Hello All,

Finally, An update on my file. I sent an email yesterday to buffalo VO asking for the status and they replied saying, "Your File has been transferred to NY Visa office on April 23rd". happy to hear that there is some movement at least.

But, I didn't receive any email from them unless I initiated a status email (reply on my email). Is this something that I have to worry for (that they don't initiate any email)?

Update: Transferred to NY VO on April 23rd

Thanks Wolvy.. Same here. I pray for buffalo VO applicants alot because, This VO is completely screwed up. I think applicants who applied in Dec 2010 and jan 2011 can check with Buffalo VO (just by email) about the status of their application. You never know, your application may have already been transferred to another VO. All the best for every one.

Between wht ur ecas status shows? Is it still in RBVo and status inside is updated?

I had already send 2 enquiry to check the status in April and got reply a "Your application is in process.We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete".. Not sure whether its a standard message as many forum members mentioned..

Still there is not update in ecas..its RBVO.. I'm almost done with my CEC application,pending only PCC..planning to send it by May end.. after waiting 18 months...

I am fedup of this buffalo office..everyday checking the ecas with no update.Hope is the only thing expecting from Buffalo..
