UPDATE

Got my GCMS Notes today. They show the file on the pull date of March 28, 2012, almost exactly a month ago. GCMS notes show that Background Checks started on March 27, 2012 for both my wife and me. Under "Criminality", we both are listed as "In Progress."

So, even though my file is still listed online as RBVO (at Buffalo VO no less), and a recent status inquiry email came back with "you are in que," there has been substantial activity happening with our file...one might even say that our app is "in progress"

So cheer up everyone who has been transferred and hasn't heard anything!

Hi, would you please explain what you mean by GCMS notes? Is it the same as CAPIS? The london VO received my medicals on 30 jan and till now no updates. Do you think I can use GCMS/ CAPIS in this situation? Do we nneed to pay somethign for this? How long does it take for them to answer? As well how do we do it? If you could answer, it would be great. Many thanks

I will be eligible to file for CEC on May 24th..so will mail out my application on the 24th. I am still confused abt selecting a VO...as Buffalo is extremely slow with FSW apps...I was wondering if I should select ND over Buffalo as ND is super fast with FSW...but I am not sure which VO is better for CEC as far as processing times go...mayb I should go with Buffalo as your email says processing time is 10 months...can you give your thoughts please. Thanks once again !

Have you noticed that website to check the application status is being opening up.
is that good or bad news?

Dear , I applied on July 8th. 2011 and got CIO file number for NOC 1122 in late Sep. But since then , there has been no contact from visa office ( Warsaw ) and my online status is "in process" - We received your application on 8th of July....... as it is the end of the 7th month for processing and there is no news , I am a little bit worried . Does anybody have a similar case ?

Wow!! Med line in 6 days is superb!!!

If it goes with similar speed, rprf should be in next 1 week and then DM in max 2 weeks thereafter... Just estimated timeline!!! Others can correct me...
