UPDATE

Got my GCMS Notes today. They show the file on the pull date of March 28, 2012, almost exactly a month ago. GCMS notes show that Background Checks started on March 27, 2012 for both my wife and me. Under "Criminality", we both are listed as "In Progress."

So, even though my file is still listed online as RBVO (at Buffalo VO no less), and a recent status inquiry email came back with "you are in que," there has been substantial activity happening with our file...one might even say that our app is "in progress"

So cheer up everyone who has been transferred and hasn't heard anything!

have you heard anything on your CEC application yet? I believe you have to select a VO for processing..have you selected Buffalo as the VO or have you selected any other VO? do you know how long it is taking these days for CEC applicatons? I am asking as I plan to apply under CEC next month. Thanks for your help !

yes, i applied on 20th feb, VO is Buffalo and today recd. medicals.Also in the email its mentioned the processing time is 10 months.

In the mail u recd. does it mentions the date the file was transferred?
it will take 90 days for SVO to start processiing the files.

no, it didnt mention anything about when the file was moved to SEattle, but I received the email on April 18.
all they said was that all correspondence will be with Seattle from thereon, and then Not to request status about my file for 90 days.
I believe, yours was transferred this week? I guess we should keep in touch with each other with regards to any updates about our application, if you dont mind...that is..
