Update;

We received our COPR ten days ago and "landed" by crossing the Can/USA border last Sunday, 5th February.

Almost 17 months to the day since we applied.

So just for your information on timeline we had;

Med requests - 29th November 2011
Meds done - 30th November 2011 (yes, we had them done the very next day!)
Passport request by e-mail - 21st December 2011
Passports sent to London VO by courier - 4th January 2012
COPR received - 1st February 2012
Landed - 5th February 2012

Please can the moderators update the spreadsheet for us.

Got one Speed Post yesterday from NDVO... They have returned my passport saying it's lamination is coming out and it has old photo. They have asked me to submit a new passport along with the old one.

Dilemma is the later is on dated 31st Jan 2012 but we received it on 13th Feb and letter asks to submit the new passport withing 30 days. I am not getting appointment to go to PSK and apply for reissue. passport seva portal compeletely hangs while booking appointment!

Any body have any idea to get faster appointment?

Hi Spyder sorry to hear about the setback.Maybe you can download the online forms fill them up and then use the tatkal system,I think that wouldn't take more than a week.All the best.

Today 10 month is completed from my 2 AOR (PER) from New Delhi,

As per that latter they should completed the process till today, but till today no news from their side.

Most frustrating situation in my life.

I was also in the same boat as you but my friend I received my medical, RPRF & PP request exactly almost one year from the date of filing my application. I know it's frustrating but keep the faith in god.

A STRANGE THING HAS HAPPENED IN MY ECAS

THE ADDRESS DISAPPEARED ON 27TH JAN AND REAPPEARED TODAY WITH MY CURRENT DESTINATION MENTIONED AS "HAMILTON, ONTARIO, CANADA" . MY VISA OFFICE IS NEW DELHI. WHAT COULD IT MEAN?

I got my Passport back from NDVO, BUT WITHOUT VISA STAMPED ON IT.

They said, we don't required your passport now, don't submit again until it is requested to do so.

Are there any Microbiologists in the forum? I just tried my hand in job search and its been a herculean task getting a job in this field? Leave aside the white collar jobs in this field, getting a survival job in this field is just next to impossible. I feel I will drop the idea of ever settling in Canada. I think my country India has better openings.

I really hope and pray that you and all Buffalo VO applicants hear something soon....the wait is surely very unfair !

Can you tell me how long the FBI clearance is valid for? I have been thinking of applying but hesitate as Buffalo is nowhere close to processing May 2011 files...so kind of confused if i should apply now or wait till they actually ask for it. Thanks !
