Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi Pinakini,

IMO if the RPRF DD was to reach VO after 7th Nov, irrespective of the date it was requested on, the DD was supposed to be of revised amount i.e. Rs22540 for single and Rs45080 for married applicants.

My RPRF request was dated 4th Nov and had former amounts mentioned on it, however I sent RPRF of revised amount on 16th Nov and it was encashed within 2 weeks of reaching NDVO.

U are absolutely right. I received today the much awaited communication from NDVO. The draft should have been for the revised fee schedule amount Rs.45080. The VO waited for a draft for the extra amount. When he didnt receive it, he returned the DD and requested a new one. Thanks and gud luck with ur Visa.

Dear Rupesh, Pavan and foreverurs,

I know exactly how you guys are feeling!! It is now 16.5 months to my application already... Even if things go smooth now, I will reach Canada almost after an 18 or 19-month long process... And I don't think this feeling that we have (hopelessness of waiting) ever ends... until we don't land where we intend to... But please please please keep up the hope and spirit... I know it is easier said than done but I do believe that wishes of well-wishers and faith always work... Sooner or later it HAS to work... It will surely happen one day and that one day will be YOURS!!

Update;

We received our COPR ten days ago and "landed" by crossing the Can/USA border last Sunday, 5th February.

Almost 17 months to the day since we applied.

So just for your information on timeline we had;

Med requests - 29th November 2011
Meds done - 30th November 2011 (yes, we had them done the very next day!)
Passport request by e-mail - 21st December 2011
Passports sent to London VO by courier - 4th January 2012
COPR received - 1st February 2012
Landed - 5th February 2012

Please can the moderators update the spreadsheet for us.
