surely i ll b very glad to share my experience with u guys..
my interview was scheduled for 8:45 but i was called at 9:30 in the cabin and my interview lasted for 45 mins..
the guy was an indian and in his late 30s or early 40s...seemed to b a nice one..which relaxed me a bit.
he had a doubt abt my experience and he asked maximum questions abt my job..as to who is director and principal of my college etc..he asked me the date of my marriage atleast 4 times..he asked me my job duties ,why i joined my present job,why i want to go to canada, abt my family as to whether my brother is married or not?then he called my husband and asked some quetions and sent me out, then called me and sent my husband out..the whole procedure took approx 45 min..at last he called both of us and said that we need some time to prepare ur medical forms and u ll be recieving them soon...if any one needs any more information plz feel free to contact me..just inbox me ur no...i ll surely call u:):)

Thanks Harjot for sharing your exp! This will really help other people. I am sure you will get positive responce soon :)

Good luck,
spyder

Just wondering!!!

Do anyone have an idea about "add child to application form" to include new born child in existing application? Is it the same form that was filled at beginning, to be filled again with details added for child or another form named "add child to application form" exists?? I have got an instruction from the VO to fill and send such a form but I could not find any in the CIC website.

PS: I am post June applicant and VO is New Delhi

Bhupee
Hai bhupee1227 according to NDVO specification they want the following documents for the addition of a child in ur file. The below instructions they sent me through email when i go through CSE .

You will be required to submit the following documents in order to add your child to your application:

- a letter explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your child be added to your application
- processing fee for the child (if accompanying you to Canada)
- an IMM8 application form and Family Information Form filled in for the child
- updated IMM0008 Generic and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse
- notarized copy of the child's birth certificate
- copy of your child's valid passport
There is no other application form for addition of ur child.
I think this information will u better.
- two recent passport-size photographs of your child according to the specifications

Rajdoot

Hi All,

stayed in US for an year in 1995 and for the same had requested FBI clearance certificate which may be now appox 8 moths old.Do I have to apply for a fresh FBI certificate again? as the whole process is very time taking and I have to send all the documents before March 9 to NDVO.

Though I have requested FBI to send me the updated FBI certificate again paying the fees and submitting the finger prints towards end of Jan to be on the safe side but till now I haven't got me fees deduction notification on the credit card..................so what shd I do?
I donot want to wait and submit my papers to NDVO ASAP.So shd I send older FBI clearance rt now and let them know that I have re requested the certificate or wait for the new one to arrive?
Please share your timely thoughts and help me decide next action step.I donot want any delays or prob to happen at this stage.

Best regards,
PR

Hi PR

According to NDVO the PCC is valid for one year from the date of issue. This is confirmed from NDVO as my son's FBI was also more than six months old and I had enquired from them and as per their answer the PCC is valid for one year. Only they asked for a fresh PCC from India for which they returned his Passport.

I hope to have clarified your query.

All the best for your further processing.

Hi All,

Heartiest congratulations to all the members who received the good news frm their respective VO's and all the very best to my fellow members who are waiting to be NEXT in the congratulations & celebrations list.

Special congrats to Bhakti for the much awaited Medical request and Harjot for clearing the interview.

I have got my medicals on Feb 7 and would be dispatching my papers on Monday.Hoping by that time even medical reports would be sent by DMP.Can we track whether our DMP has already sent the reports? How???
Also dear seniors and my fellow members your valuable feedback is awaited as I stayed in US for an year in 1995 and for the same had requested FBI clearance certificate which may be now appox 8 moths old.Do I have to apply for a fresh FBI certificate again? as the whole process is very time taking and I have to send all the documents before March 9 to NDVO.

Firstly, Congrats PR!! And thanks for your wishes for me :)

About inquiring from DMP if reports have been sent, you can always ask them within how many days do they generally send it off, also ask how can you find it out from them if and when they have sent - can u call? Btw where did you go for your medicals?

Re the PCC, as rightly said by Kittu, PCCs are valid for one year from the date of issue... So I suppose your old one will do good... Confirmations from other more knowledgeable members would be better though...

All the very best for a speedy remaining process!! :)

Re: Medicals Received - Pre June applicant : London VO

Thanks a million Kittu & Bhakti for your timely responses! Surely they are helpful.Re my medicals I got them done in New Delhi itself and do have the concerned medicentre board #s.When I enquired on the day of medicals they mentioned they normaly would take 5 -6 working days to send the reports. So guess have to wait and also hope that I see the medical results line added in my e cas soon. Appreciate your reverts with best wishes for further processing steps!

Kindest regards,
PR

Okay great then! I got it done at Ahmedabad and they told me the same... a slight difference though... they said we can contact them after 5 working days and quote our receipt number, to which they shall give us a tracking number with the help of which we can track whether reports have reached or not...

I sent my docs on Friday and got confirmation from courier company that it was received at CHC at 10 am today... So we will share almost similar waiting periods for the addition of "medical results received" line :)

All the best again...
