Dear all;
I want to discuss wih u my experience that there is no worry about decision made before medicals, it doesn't mean that it is a chance of rejection bcoz i got decision made once during my processing but after 3 months it changed to RBVO again and i was called for a interview at NDVO in Dec 2011 , and next day after my interview i got my medicals,PP,RPRF,PCC request and i did my med on 16th of Jan 2012 and sent my PP,PCC and RPRF on 21st of Jan 2012, Can anybody tell that how long it will take now.

Congratulations!!! :)

Hi all.

Need advice from seniors and experts.

I have completed my medicals on 19th dec and submitted RPRF and PP on the same day. Med received line has been added and BD cleared on 24th dec. However then onwards, I have not received any updates.

Need your advice on the same. When can I expect the VISA.

Should i need to send a enquiry.

Please advice.

Thanks

I think it should be completely fine for you to send an inquiry. But if I was you, would still wait through the end of this month and then send off one... But else, our other mates have always suggested that sending inquiries can turn out to be helpful many a times... Like Canadestin and frangrance10! So I don't think there should be issues going ahead with that... All the best!! :D

Avsneh,

I dint apply PCC at PPO...bcos for that we need to submit original PP n it takes long time.....specially if the PP is old...i was told it will take 25-40 days....in Hyderabad.

I applied PCC thru commissioner office n got in 3 days.....n we dont need to submit original PP at CO.

ifur DMP had senT med yesterday, then it shud reach NDVO within 2 days.

I sent PP on 3 Dec...reached on 5 dec....visa issued on 20 DEC....received PP on 29 Dec :)

Excellent news canadestin!

Congratulations and best wishes! :)

Hey all,

A short bio-paragraph of mine was recently added to the new website of my current organisation. It has a short reference to my past work experience as well as the current position... I was wondering if sharing this could help NDVO in checking out my employment records, since this is one official record of my work? I was just guessing that it could be helpful if, just in case, they aren't / haven't been able to get in touch with any of my employers (both the organisations - current and past - are very big and sometimes insensitive/uncooperative and I have little little doubts if it was easy for NDVO getting connected to them to inquire about me)... Is it worth communicating or too small a thing?

Thanks,

BhaktiUjjwal

NDVO is well aware about website thing....any one can create and host.

They NDVO will check when the website has been created...it's IP address...on whose name it is registered n address etc.

It is not necesary that registrant(website) address n company's address should be same....but its good if the add. are same..it stop VO going into deep verification.

whether ur profile is added or not in the website ....doesnt matter at all.

They asked for police certificate. One of the countries I have lived does not issue PC without immigration office request. So they should give me a request letter first and then I can apply for it. Today I received that letter but my information was incorrect in the letter. I sent an email to ottawa right after receiving doc request letter from them and asked them to edit the letter.
I couldn't believe it! They replied after 10 min and sent me a revised letter!!!!!
They are really fast!
Good luck for your application, I hope you receive your medical within couple of days then you won't have to waste your money to apply again :)

Mari

Hello Everyone

Finally after nearly 12 month wait I received my MR request today from LVO via snail post.

But I have some concerns, on the IMM 1017 form of mine in the Maital status it mentions: Single, however on my wifes form the Maital status it mentions: Married. The Maital status on both our passport is Single.

My question will this be a problem if I go for the medical test and if so How do I get it rectified.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Huzefa
