Hi,
Are you the International application tracker Spreadsheet? I couldn't find you in October.
I applied during 10/2010 as well and thebeast184 also applied in October. His application was recently transferred to LA.

Good luck!

I applied in 10/2010. Received 1st e-mail about file transfer to Buffalo in Feb 2011. Status is "application received by visa office".
Have not heard after that? What exactly is going on? Can any body please guide. How long it is going to take?

Thank you!

hello everybody,

I took a little vacation but now I'm back. with news.
we just got a letter from Canadian Consulate in Detroit. they give us 60 days to send in income tax returns for 2003 through 2007 and IRS Wages and Income Transcripts for the same years. only the principal applicant is required to comply. hope they will be satisfied with tax returns only as my wife, who is the PA, never got a W-2 from the employer/restaurant during that period. at the time, their accounting matters/practices were not my wife's interest. we will explain the situation with an attached letter. fingers crossed.

again, I just got back from vacation. I didn't have time read all the missed posts and updates, any other big news?

Alex.

Alex:

Technically they can't ask you for your taxes from 2003 to 2005. By US law you should only keep taxes for 7 years anything before then should be disposed of... don't think this helps you much, but you never know...

Good luck,
Cam

Hi Mitali,

Sent you a PM. Please reply.

Thanks,
satya.

Anyone from Buffalo VO submitted PCC to VO before they asked for it? Please forum members share ur experience. I haven't submitted mine with my original app, so wondering if its good to apply now, as it takes 45 days here in US to get PCC and mailing to VO takes few weeks altogether.

String,

I have sent mine before they asked. My recommendation for you would be to wait given that Buffalo seems to be tacking around 20 months now a days (if not more). A PCC is valid for a year from the date of issuance most times. However wait and see how processing times evolve next few months and then decide when to request one.

Just my 2 cents,
Rod

hi Cam,

I really appreciate the help.
We have all the personal tax records, we don't mind sending those and we will. The thing is they also want W-2s which the employer never provided because apparently my wife was never declared to IRS as an employee. It kinda sucks.
Anyway, they are working. Your file is in process for sure since you applied before us.

Alex.

I can't stop laughing ;D ;D ;D
but think positively and remember that each case takes its own time.

I don't think that the Visa officers enjoy sitting on files but I do understand the word complexity (foreign travel history, educational query, experience related queries, etc) based on which each application takes it own time

SO KEEP PATIENCE !!!

Nokiadesire
