%&*^$%#^&* Buffalo,

Please wake up.

I need my PR as soon as possible.
How long I have to deal with these stupid people in this damn office?!?!?!?!

Mari1981 you and I are in the same boat.

I don't know what's going on, yesterday I heard a rumor that Buffalo is giving hard time and long waiting to Muslim applicants, especially from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq, etc

I don't know if it's true or not, but so far it sounds like this.

Hi

I am a March 21 2011 applicant NDVO. Received PER on 13 April 2011. RBVO 8 May 2011. (Did not send PCCs from five countries with application, but sent them to NDVO before their expiration date....i.e 3 months from date of issue). In Process 10 Oct 2011. Medicals/RPRF/passport requested 12 October... due 25 November 2011. new PCCs not requested so I guessed that the PCCs I sent without them asking for it were accepted 9i did not want to go thru the hassle of getting the PCCs again so I sent them without them asking for it and within their valisidity date) Visa issued 5 Dec 2011. So I applied to NDVO my country of nationality but currently resident in the UAE. I had sent my passport with a friend to India who delivered it to my parents. I sent along a cover letter saying that I had authorized my friend to carry my passport to my parents and that I authorized my father to send my passport to the VO and for the VO to mail my passport to my father's address. On 2 December CIC website says medical received and then on 8 December decision made. 14 December my passport with visa as well as my original PCCs and IELTS results were returned back. I am writing this because there has been confusion in the past about sending passports to India .... none of the courrier companys in the UAE would carry my passport to NDVO. I also did request the VO that I needed to go home for Christmas and would appreciate it if they could send my passport in a timely manner which they did.

Please mail me if you have any questions.
Thanks to all on this forum for sharing their experiences which helped me a lot especially Mitali for the unconditional help.

Mwansaa

Hi Mwansaa,

Needless to say that I am extremely happy for you. All the calculations for Time management paid off and thankfully you had a smooth processing despite the obvious hurdles.

Just to summarize:

Application date 21 Mar 2011, NDVO
PER 13 Apr
RBVO 8 May
In Process ( 5months from RBVO) 10 Oct
Req for MR/RPRF/PCC 12 Oct
Meds recd (ECas) 2nd Dec
DM 8th Dec
PP, PCC and IELTS returned 14 Dec

How did you get your PP back at UAE.....did your friend get it back for you?

Mwanssa, have a wonderful life in Canada. :)

Mitali

It came via Regular Mail... in act it had to, since the form included has one of the photos I sent stuck to it.

No email or enquiry, other than the threatening one I made at the end of November that seemed to get them moving on my file.

Hi CanadaJimmy, congrats on your IP status. I also filed my application to Sidney CIO Oct 2010.

Did you actually file your application with CIO in Aug 2010? Or your file was sent to Buffalo VO in Aug 2010? Can you please let me know?

Thanks, RSTD

My medicals must've gotten lost somewhere 'cause I'm not Muslim.
I tell what I am: I am waiting. :)

Hi Maani:

Buffalo has nothing against Muslim applicants, whoever started that "rumor" has a mean spirit. They are simply overloaded and overburdened by thousands of applications... there are many applicants, not from a Muslim background, who are from our time line and are all waiting.

I am as tired as anyone about this senseless wait, but let's not give "rumors" a chance to get us more upset... in my opinion of course.

My application was mailed to CIO on August 17th 2010.
I got my Positive Eligibility Email from CIO on December 13th 2010.
My ECAS changed to "Received by Visa Office" March 25th 2011. So thats when Buffalo officially got it in their office.

I think you right, Buffalo should never do that. Otherwise what's the difference between Canada and other nations, which are against Muslims.

Guys pls don't post rumors" who ever spred this kind of rumor they are sick ppl! Just focus in ur application and good luck to all..

There are many applicant got in process during first week of December, but only few are getting medical (hariranjith from india) so all are waiting for their medical I'm also.

so we should wait for few days at least this month without any worried, it should be come by the end of this month. we all hopes so.
