Hi seniors i am new to this forum and my time line is as:
File sent to CIO office on 21 sep.2010
File transfer to Buffalo office (RBVO) on 15 feb.2011
Now when i asked to my consultant today they told me a new story that it would be another 9 months likely to be start your application because according them visa office acknowledge my application on 21 sep.2011.
So i am bit confused about this acknowledgment date that i have never heard please help me.

This is ofcourse not true.... Ask him for source of such information. Gutt feeling,, he's hiding something else from you as well...
I am sure you would have taken all proofs of correspondence with CIO and VO till now namely; receipt of orignal application's courier,, copy of PER mail,, copy of letter from VO acknowleding receipt of your file at buffallo... If not ,, get them now.
Above all make him realize that you are not sitting in dark..

Is there anyone in this wonderful thread who had to send an Indian passport outside your country of residence through courier..or what means did you use to get your passport stamped in NDVO while living in say USA, CANADA , UK etc., Also, how did you get the passport back. All I know is that it is illegal to send an Indian passport outside your country of residence through post.

One of the most happest moments of my life....

can anyone pls advise y some files are being skipped
there r many appicants who applied earlier even they did not get their medicals
and then they have to wait for a long long time
since last 2 months i had seen that NDVO is in full speed
they had issued medicals to jan feb mar apr may jun jul applicants
but i have noticed tht they had skipped some applicants
i have this list of april applicants but there r many from jan feb mar apr may
can anyone pls let us know what is the strategy behind this.
would like to have some words from regular forum members like MITALI and many other.
