Wait a minute... Though you filed in Aug 2010, Your application reached VO on 25th March 2011 and Now your file is in process??? That means, applications received by VO in march should start getting processed? Is that what it is???? Little optimistic becoz my application has reached VO in march 2011. :P

I asked them if there had been a problem with my file and if there was anything i could do for them to speed up my application. It was nearly a year since i applied. I think that once they have to look up your file after a CSE it floats around the pile of files to process.

My theory is once your file arrives at Sydney, NS it then goes in to an A4 box and when 50 boxes are filled they send them out to the respective visa offices. I don't believe the boxes are numbered, so even if your file is the first to get to Sydney, NS this means your file will be bottom of a box and this could be the last of the 50 boxes to be opened by your visa office. So i do believe they process files in order, just order of files once they arrive at the local visa office.

I also think that it takes time for these guys to do there job and they will get to everyone in time. CSE's just hold then up from processing files and i made a decision early on only to contact them a year after filing as i didn't want to delay others from getting to Canada. I was happy to give them a nudge though once the year was done. IT HAS BEEN A LONG YEAR!

Thank you to all who congratulated me :-*. Remember, once its your time you will be contacted! Patience is hard but worth it. Once you check your Ecas and see "In Process" you will understand.

I hope so! I would love to see all the Buffalo people on here starting to make big steps towards PR, it's been way too long. But yeah I recommend sending an email, it won't hurt though I'm sure they are overwealmed with emails right now!

CSE? Is it Case Specific Enquiry? Its just a guess. If it is, Can you please tell me how to do it? Is just by email or is there any other process to be followed?
