But Dual Intent also means this :

A22(2) states: “An intention by a foreign national to become a permanent resident does not preclude them from becoming a temporary resident if the officer is satisfied that they will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for their stay.” Dual intent is present when a foreign national, who has applied for permanent residence in Canada also applies to enter Canada for a temporary period as a visitor, worker or student. Dual intent on the part of the applicant is therefore not prima facie grounds for refusal of temporary resident status.

Bang on Daash.....My state suffers upto 8 hours power failure despite 2 hours being the official announcement.

If you can have a hangover eating 2 kgs of cake....yes, i did have one . My pp & rprf reached on 1st Nov, encashed 9th Nov, meds line was displayed 18th Nov and from then on, me & NDVO are playing hide and seek with each other.

I agree Daash.......waiting can be painful....but just think of the others. There are those who applied before us and have not gone into in process as yet, those waiting for their meds. Consider yourself lucky friend. We are in the last lap. All will be well

I agree Daash.......waiting can be painful....but just think of the others. There are those who applied before us and have not gone into in process as yet, those waiting for their meds. Consider yourself lucky friend. We are in the last lap. All will be well

I know but there are persons who got Visas on a rocketing speed, in less than 20 days of their Medicals submission.......

BUt still i thank God for my processing and also God Bless my Visa Officer who is not in a slumber over my file (I hope so )

Logically, this is bound to happen as the applicants left for the final processing are less in number and apparently the ones that have applied pre-jan 2011 are either tired of waiting or losing hope as the applicants after them are receiving the medicals and passports requests

So the only thing that we can do is try to keep this forum cheerful 8)

Since the applicants are less in number for final processing, they should process faster. I have a foreign trip coming up on christmas and i am left in such a lurch as of now........i wish it comes soon with those magical leafs by God's Grace
