Hi Mitali,

Thanks for your inputs.....But someone in other thread told me that we can request current VO to transfer our file to the VO where we gonna live physically as my visa is expiring in April 2012 and I don't want to extend my stay here so why would it be a problem????what do u think?

Its not what I think ....its the Rules of CIC as clearly mentioned in the OP6 Mannual Section 9.7- FILE TRANSFERS and quoted in my above post. FILES WILL NOT BE TRANSFERRED to DIFFERENT VO except under PROGRAM INTEGRITY.

You will have to inform VO when you move back to India (MANDATORY) but the rest of the proceeding will take place at the original VO, in your case AUS. The only problem will arise at the PP sending stage and getting it back ...and unfortunately, you will have to make appropriate arrangements for it.

I do not know who has advised that the transfer of files is possible, but IMO, IT IS NOT......such requests will not be entertained by CIC.

Yes, you can request for a transfer of your file, but the decision lies VO and he is bound by the rules.

i need some consultation,
my satutus changed in to IN PROCESS about 2 months ago, and i applied from IRAN, but i came to Germany for continuing my education, it is about 3 months i am here and i did not change my address because i thought it may take more time if i change my address in the website, now after this time (3 months ) i am a bit confused,
my VO at the moment is Warsaw,and it is possible for me to travel to Iran anytime for medical process.

should i announced that my living place is changed?
does it affect negatively if i dont tell them i have changed my place?
does anybody know how much time takes more when you change address?
if i wanna change my address is it enough just to do it in the website? should i send any other documents?

i am looking forward for advices

You must inform VO about your change in resident status if you stay more than 6 months continuing your education in Germany & you have to submit PCC of Germany.
Take immidiate action accordingly on this to save time.

7 months completed......from the date of RBVO

no call nothing...wat the **** they are doing

13 months completed.....from the date of application reached.

6 months completed......from the date of In Process

no information from VO :'( :'( :'( :'(

Did you serve the Military at point ? IMO, people from Military get EXTRA attention from CIC.....just my thought.

Did you consider ordering CAIPS....IMO, you are a Ideal case for CAIPS.....atleast you get some peace of mind to know what exactly is going on with your file.

I applied GCMS on September NDVO sent my file to AFU for verification on my job and education. Job verification completed and they are waiting for my Education verification report till now they have't got any reply from our respective Univerisity becoz due to our Telangana issue University closed since 6 months University got a letter from NDVO on July :'( :'( :'(. now University opened still they did't send any confirmation letter to NDVO. waiting game going on, these all points mentioned in my GCMS.... :'( :'( :'(

Not at all......no harm.......but it is advised by many that the REQUEST should be dripping with politeness. ...maybe just to give some happiness to the VO.....so that he can (hopefully) work on your file efficiently....this is just an observation made by many members on the forum....unfounded theories

Hmmm....so CAIPS already in hand...did you try contacting the Univ to expedite the process? I am sure you must have....just thinking aloud.
