Hi,

Are you talking about changing AEO or the job you are currently working at (In Canada)?

I presume you want to change the job you are currently working at. Do you already have a LMO approved job offer for the new job and do you also have a WP for the new job?

If the answer to the above question is Yes, then you have managed to tackle a lot of issues.

If No, then the following will be of concern:

1. You have to inform VO that the job based on which you applied for PR is no more existent.
2. Automatically ur application changes status from FSW2 to FSW1 category.
3. You will have to show proof of funds as applicable to FSW1 applicants.
4. Your application might take extra couple of months to process.

Actually,I m not talking about changing AEO,my occupation is the same as the Offer of Permanent Employment.The new Employer has a pre-approved LMO for me,if I want to join him.I just have to apply for a new Work Permit!

I dont know how long will this whole PR Process will take to complete.Till that time I wanted to take a time-off for my home country.

Thanks a lot for the appreciation......Its all a team work :)

As I understand from your post:

1. You want to quit you present job.
In that case, yyou will have to inform VO and the status of previous application will change from FSW2 too FSW1; also will have show POF
2. You want to take a break.
gain you will have to inform VO and mention that you are unemployed; show POF

3. If you get a new work permit for the new job and join it as well.
Again inform VO of new job;you retain the status of FSW2; no POF is required
4. If you want to quit the present job, return to home country and come back again with New WP.
Inform VO about the gap in employment and subsequent employment with a new employer; provide reference letters from the new employer, other docs as LMO etc.

5. Once you get PR, your LMO approved job will no longer be valid.

You can expect an overall average processing time to be approx yr or more for your PR application....and with Buffalo as your VO...it might take more time.....cannot be exactly predicted.

Hope this helps.

I have send my medical request letter back to the new delhi canadian embassy for the correction of my name in the medical request form on saturday 29th october, any idea when will i get back my new corrected medical request letter from the canadian high commission.

You are likely to get new dates for the submission of the Meds, rprf, and PP submission.....because you cannot do meds without the corrected Med forms. Its really difficult to predict when you would receive the corrected Med Forms...but keep sending emails to VO to inform about the correction that is required on your Med forms and your concerns about the extension for completing the Meds and sending docs.
