I am a December 2010, NDVO applicant,,, still RBVO.. seems some applicants are being put aside for stringent checks and that pie seems to be in our luck....

I got a verification call yesterday.... so your application should also start moving soon (as per LVO speed).

Immigration email to yahoo safelist

Hi friends,

I was wondering what email should I add to my yahoo address book so the immigration email does not go to my spam folder?
Also what keyword do I search to see if I got any emails from them lately ?
When they request medicals, do they send a letter as well or just an email?

Hi all, how's it going?

Just to let you know my PR card arrived. Took about 6.5 weeks (40 business days). However, my wife's card hasn't arrived (guessing they just process them seperately so hopeful it'll be here in the next few days!).

At least I can get my BC driving license released now and get some decent Canadian photo ID with my address on so I can be a real person....

Best of luck to anyone else who is waiting.

Same happened to NDVO in July August when everyone went to deep slumber.. But suddenly they woke up fresh and and still running hard.

Hope Buffalo would also wake up soon.

We are in Oman.
Our medicals were completed on July 28th 2011.
From Oct 7th 2011 our ecas reads Medical results have been received.
Currently we are waiting for PPR.
I need to know the following;
I and my family visited India during my annual leave from May/June 2011
I visited Dubai in June 2011 for 3 days
My visa was renewed on Oct 2011 and visa number is different.
The resident card number is same only validity is changed.
My spouse is the Principal applicant and has visa till Apr 2012 along with kids.
We are planning to visit Egypt/Turkey during Eid Holidays.
Should we inform our travelling info to London VO?

This is not required. You only need to inform the VO of travels lasting over 6 months duration. Have a nice holiday!

Seems CIC came to know about the flaw in system and fixed it.... The last time address disappeared and came back for all was during some technical up-gradation going on in ECAS.
