Hi Mayank,

So happy that you have finally crossed the finish line of your PR journey....Congratulations and wish you all the very best for you and your better half. I am sure you will be successful and extremely content in your chosen path.

I sometimes feel that this whole thing about Migration is like a RELAY RACE....the only difference is that the runner is only YOU and the hurdles keep changing....which I am sure you will overcome with flying colours.

After 14 months of waiting I have once more e-mailed Minister Kenney's office to query the delay with our processing.
On their last reply when we were at 10 months processing, they said that they were currently processing 80% of applicants within 13 months and that they could not consider Ministerial Intervention until after that time had elapsed.

SO, now it has elapsed and I am making the same points again as I did in the previous e-mail-
Procedural Fairness of processing in order received is not being followed.
Category 2 times have increased massively over what was quoted when we applied.
Applicants at London (especially Cat 2) are being unfairly disadvantaged in timelines when other nationalities being processed at London are showing shorter times ti Visa.
Cat 2s are being disadvantaged by having to renew their LMO which costs them and their Canadian employer more money.

We will see what the reply is this time, now that our timeline exceeds their stated 80%processing times and we have not even received our medical requests yet.
I will report what their reply is as soon as I receive it.

Hi guys,

My apologies to all who have PM'd me and have not yet had replies. As most of you know I arrived in Canada this week to permanently settle, and I have been too busy to log onto this site.

Anyway, I am now going over all my PMs for the last 2 weeks so will get back to you all ASAP.

Cheers,
Wayne.

Congrats :) Whereabouts did you land, and whereabouts are you living?

Wayne.

I just want to share for Buffalo colleagues:

I had a couple of friends who applied before June 26 and are still pending any notification - (after 2nd AOR) - and now have heard from Buffalo with file transfer to Detroit. This happened in the last few weeks. Buffalo being over-burdened is distributing files....

I wonder where the post 26 june 2010 folks are yet with Buffalo? Any updates?

Congrats to Sethi Paji......for a quick process....visa is on its way now......
Congrats to S.kumars.....
Congrats to Mayank...who have reached his destiny......

and

Good luck to all my friends, who are waiting in a que like me........
