Congrats Shalom. You must have struck some kind of communication accord with LVO, 'cause no one seems to get email responses as frequently and as fast as you do

You have made the right decision to fax the withdrawal request to Accra and copy LVO. You probably have done this already, but just in case, remmember to include the body of the e-mail you received from LVO in your withdrawal letter to Accra. Your PPR should be along in a few days.

Congratulations to all who has received good news. It looks like we are going to apply for Caips notes,could anyone give me a idea of best way to do this and who do I apply to. Also I'd like to send VO a email to see if they will enlighten us to how our file is co ming along if anything else is required,I know this is a long shot,but willing to try it. Has anyone else sent emails like this before at a similar stage to us and got a reply.Goodluck to all

I am going to get my medicals done today.

Please let me know, If i am missing on anything. Thanks in advance...

need your suggestion here..got medical received line on 23rd of july 2011 on ecas..recevied following email from embassy ndvo in reply to my mail...

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration
Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

Under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are
subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background
checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be
granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background
investigations are being conducted in connection with your application.
As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no
purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an
exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on
this case.

For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured
that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this
application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to
provide any additional information on this case.

Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing
to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to
ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Dont worry..You are within the time line..as in London VO case after my medical in June, in Aug end that line appeared and yesterday I got PPR so it will take another one month to get PR..

In your case as you have already got that line since july near about this month you will get DM and stamped passport will come to you after 15-25 days from this..

I have the same status but my profile went in process in 12th July ,and the same document update at the same day and till now I didn't receive anything...boring waiting

Hi queencougar,

Don't u worry about the snailing pace of London VO......for encouraging urself, u can have a look at my time on the left side

I am also in the same boat of waiting waiting and waiting since 3rd of August when i got in process and was also asked through a letter of same date to submit my updated documents which i forwarded to London VO on 20th September and since then, have no further response from VO.

So lets hope best of luck to each other and to all with us in the same boat of "waiting"
