Could I possibly have some other members of the forum thoughts,do you think it's worth us applying for our Caips notes, this waiting is getting so hard I know it's not just us there is many like us also ones who have waited longer. My husband said he has constant earache with me going on and on :D ;). Would be grateful to know your thoughts ,thankx.

Thanks mitali......

My misunderstanding.... Sorry....:) :) But thanks for clarification.....Thats why I like the forum MOST.... where we can debate and solve our issues with simple truth.....Thanks once again....

I think you should sit beside Immigration PM as a PA to PM and start the new process..... :) :)

Hi AVSNEH,

In this link: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/pr_fees-frais_rp.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

pl scroll down to RPRF

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
Please note that for Family Class applicants, the Right of Permanent Residence Fee must be paid by the sponsor in Canada only.

21,440 $490

I think you are getting confused with Permanent Resident fees which is $550 which is at the top of the table. If not, then ignore my comment.

Constant earache..... :) :)... such a genuine confession Smiler... lol

Yes, you could apply for CAIPS....nothing to lose..if you get in IN PROCESS then well and good and if not within a month then you would know what the VO is thinking about your file or where it is stuck. Your husband will be free of earache and probably get a headache ;) ;) because the CAIPS would take a month to come in. :)... Just kidding...

Hi Mitali,

I know this is very stupid question but still......WHAT IS CAIPS?? Who are eligible to apply? and how?

Why PA to PM AVSNEH... I would be the IMMIGRATION MINISTER and give away all PRs in no time......quick, quick quick...no waiting and hide and seek game.....fair and consistent, first come first basis and ONLY ONE VO and employ tons of officers to get the process going...at a passionately fast rate.

Everybody have a very good day :D :D
