HI friends,

Those who received good news, congratulations and those who have not received yet, wish them to get good news at the earliest.

I want to share my experience.

My two friends had prepared a DD for RPRF of 42880/- in favour of "General Receiver for Canada" and they got the PR stamps.

I did it same way last week but my representative (Agent) did not accept it and told me to make a fresh DD of same amount in name of "Canadian High Commission". As per my agent information, General receiver for canada can be prepared only for amount in $ not in Rs.

Current status: 2121/NDVO/Medical done

THANKS a TON mitali....

Got the clarity....:)

Hi Dear....

On yoru first site it is mentioned that primary applicant RPRF is $550, which is reduce now to $ 490 which is updated over CIC??
Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
(Canadian dollars)
For the acquisition of permanent resident status $490

Is this link updated.... I think they have not updated the site since 2009......???

I asked this question to my agent also, who told me that we can pay INR equivalent to $490 (Incl. Conversion rate amt.) to favour of CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION, NEW DELHI....

Hi AVSNEH,

In this link: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/pr_fees-frais_rp.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

pl scroll down to RPRF

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF)
Please note that for Family Class applicants, the Right of Permanent Residence Fee must be paid by the sponsor in Canada only.

21,440 $490

I think you are getting confused with Permanent Resident fees which is $550 which is at the top of the table. If not, then ignore my comment.
