Thanks everyone! :) Oh yeah, Paris isn't dead after all! :P

Back to my issue: well, immigration clearly stated that the Visa expiry date is 2012/07/05. I will definitely need to enter Canada before that date. I also thought about this and I think I will be able to do what Mitali mentioned. Enter Canada to preserve my status; wait for PR card; get back to Portugal; return to Canada. If I need to get back sooner, I'll have to apply for that $50 travel something. Sorry, can't remember the name and I'm SO tired...! lol

Thanks again everyone! You are super kind! :)

First of all: congratulations!!! Finally Paris is on the move again!
With regard to your issue below: that will be no problem at all, as long as you fulfill requirements for staying a permanent resident e.g. reside in Canada two years in a five year period:

Pradeep,

Congrats!!

Thanks entemaria!.

Hey Buffalo Folks, Just came back to my city.

On Tuesday, I went to Canadian Consulate at Buffalo for my visa stamping. It took me around two hours to get the passport back with with visa and copr documents. And then I crossed the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara falls and completed my landing process. It took me from ten to fifteen minutes and finally the procedure is over. They told me to update my social insurance number and health card.

Finally officer said with a smile "You are permanent resident now".

Guys I understand there where delays in the process but after you completed all of these, the feel you get is wordless.

Thank you very much for your support in the past year during my pr process.

Hope everyone get theirs soon, wish you all the best.

Thanks,

Pradeep

Did you mail your passport to them. I believe Pradeep went to buffalo office yesterday to get the visa stamped and finished his landing.

Good luck

entemaria
I mailed my passport same day I got PPR. buffalo website says that they will send passport back within 15 business days.
If I knew that they could return passport with visa on the same day, I would drive to there
Hope you will get PPR soon.

HERATIEST CONGRATULATIONS FOR YOUR PR dear.....!!!!
