@ Rod and Kittu,

The PCC's are actually valid for a yr when it reaches VO. Its just that the VO want PCC which was not issued more than 3 months back at the time they reach VO.

If:

PCC date - 1st Sept 2011
Has to reach VO by-30th Nov 2011

This is the reason why we always struggle as to when to apply for PCC as we really do not know when the PCC would be requested by VO.

Mitali

Thanks Mitali,

Yes the problem is we do not know when would PCC would be requested by VO and at the same time we want to be ready with it for we do not know when it might be demanded.

Thanks for your reply

yea its true...But at last they have to give us answer..............

Hey you guys, hang in there!
Seeing your timeline you both got PER before me, and now I'm the one who got MR before you... ::)
Please, don't give up hope because you'll get your answer soon!

Moabassi did send his application earlier before wich got refuged so maybe they did hold his application on file...
And maybe that's the reason why his application is going with high speed?
And yes, I agree that AEO applicants aren't treated as CIC promissed...
We are not gettin a Fast Track Procedure but just the same process as the "normal" applicants are getting...

Kind regards,
Louise!

Hi Louise,

Congrats for the MR.

As for the high speed movement of Moabbasi's file - it is sheer luck. My appl. was submitted in Oct. 2010 but received NER for the lack of Ref. Letters only. I filed again just a week before Moabbasi and got PER but NDVO is not looking into my application.

Best of luck to all of us waiting for our applications to move a step further.

Thanks

Mitali,

Page 19 of EG7 says --
"If you are including your police certificates with your application to the CIO, please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months earlier. Police certificates are generally valid for 12 months from the date they are issued. However, if a final decision is not made on your application before the expiry of your police certificate, the visa office may request that you provide a new one."

It doesn't say anything about the timeline at VO.

Did any one here (At the VO stage -- especially ND VO applicants) submitted PCCs which were more than 3 months old and got through?
Plz respond.

This extract from EG7:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/eg7.pdf
Pg 18 - 19

Police All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of
certificates the application process.

You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your
application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate
to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your
application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa
office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure
that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you
submitted your application to the CIO.
