Hi Friends,

Please suggest :

After getting PER in April my son applied for PCC from FBI and India (he is residing in Canada) because at that time NDVO was moving at a fast speed. But now more than 3months have elapsed. Should he apply again for the FBI & Indian PCC?

What is the validity of a PCC?

Please give your opinion because will plan accordingly.

i need your's help,i am an indian working in cyprus.i applied under fsw catogory from cyprus through damascus visa office.it was in 2009.but still i don't have a reply.my problem is i can stay here for about 4 yrs only.an asian cannot stay here for more than 4 yrs.this is the rule of cyprus.by the end of december my contract will expire and i have to go back to india.is it create any problem for my application?when they will send a ppr do i have to show my visa or not?a visiting visa would be enough just to show that iam in cyprus?thanks in advance

Hi Shruti,

I am not sure if you are asking, when my medicals reached NDVO or when was the line medical results received added in eCAS. I'll answer both - I completed my medicals on 26th May and it reached NDVO on 7th June. As far as eCAS is concerned, medical results received line was never added while I was in process. My eCAS status changed to DM on 26th Sept and the line has been added on the same day.

Please let me know if I was able to answer your question.

My status on eCAS has changed to DECISION MADE moments ago. I checked couple of hours ago and it was still IN PROCESS. ;D ;D

ECAS status: in processing, We received your application for permanent residence on December 1, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 2, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 9, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

i have received the letter of passport request for Visa and the request of RPRF payment dated on 22 sept 2011. thanks

@Rod and Kittu,

The PCC's are actually valid for a yr when it reaches VO. Its just that the VO want PCC which was not issued more than 3 months back at the time they reach VO.

If:

PCC date - 1st Sept 2011
Has to reach VO by-30th Nov 2011

This is the reason why we always struggle as to when to apply for PCC as we really do not know when the PCC would be requested by VO.
