in addition to that I don't know what to assume anymore. Mainly because the applicants who went into process before us are highly irratic in profile. The next guys in que are both of us. Moabbasi went under process despite he filed 2.5 later then we did..so Its for sure the CIC is choosing its AEO applicants.

@ Rod, thanks for suggesting rent.bc. I'll go through it today although I have to admit my earlier visits were not very fruitful. This website seems to be quite limited in its properties.

@ Kolhapuri, thanks for suggesting Indira's blog. It is highly informative and I think all new applicants as well as present ones who haven't landed yet should take a look at it.

@ 9J and Louise, yes! This is going to be my 'detox' time. I'm going to have to get rid of my habit of checking ecase at least 5 times a day and once you guys get here, you'll realize its harder than it seems. ;D

@ Wayne, have you tried using your landing number to check ecase? Perhaps the immigration file number only works as long as you are still in the process if migration and once completed the landing record number kicks in.

All the best to everyone!
dear frends...

i have experience of 240 weeks (4 and a half year) of continous full time working in my related field of dentistry. during this time i worked for two different hospitals. 8 months in one place and 3 year and 11 months in the other. in both the places i worked for 36 hours per week which was mentioned in my experience letter.
now my question is whether i will be able to claim maximum points for work experience as total hours needed for full time work for four years (which is required for maximum points) is more than what is required. but as per week statistic i was working 1.5 hour less every week. please let me know whoever has the answer to my query. i am very much concerned bout this. regards

I understand your situation. You applied one week before me and our medical was issued more than 5 months ago.
Hope you get good news soon.
Best wishes.

Thanks for the concern and the wishes Shalom...The wait is just too much. Anyways there is not much I can do except for waiting...Wish you good luck for the remaining process and hope you get the PPR soon mate... ;)

i think they ask "MEDICALS ONLY" for applicants who are older in age ....say above 33+. Once they find medicals ok then they ask for PPR. this is just my assumption.
Dear Canadestein
I don`t think so ,as i got MR alongwith PPR and i`m 33+.Age factor is not going to have any such effect.

Is there a need to specifically mention the number of working hours in your letters?? My letter just mentioned that I worked full-time and it hasn't caused any problem.

No this is incorrect. I am 33+ applicant and i submitted everything together. I think the reason why some people are requested to submit the MR RPRP together or seperately is purely based on case by case basis. They may have certain background checks to be done and by the BFD if all are not in they may request MR where as if all checks are done then they request all together. That is my take.

Cheers

Hi Friends,

Please suggest :

After getting PER in April my son applied for PCC from FBI and India (he is residing in Canada) because at that time NDVO was moving at a fast speed. But now more than 3months have elapsed. Should he apply again for the FBI & Indian PCC?

What is the validity of a PCC?

Please give your opinion because will plan accordingly.

Thanks in advance
