does anyone know why some people are requested for medicals and paying the landing fee at the same time and some people like me receive only the medical request? what could this mean?

Congrats to all who has received good news from VO offices.

I am still RBVO stage since 167 days from 2AOR and 230 days from application.

Let's hope that October will bring some good news and we can celebrate DIWALI nicely.

i think they ask "MEDICALS ONLY" for applicants who are older in age ....say above 33+. Once they find medicals ok then they ask for PPR. this is just my assumption.

in addition to that I don't know what to assume anymore. Mainly because the applicants who went into process before us are highly irratic in profile. The next guys in que are both of us. Moabbasi went under process despite he filed 2.5 later then we did..so Its for sure the CIC is choosing its AEO applicants.

We returned from holiday yesterday and found our passport requests delivered by snail mail (CIC London).

They are dated 15/09/11 (although incorrectly on form as 15/04/11). We have 45 days to submit.

Keep your faith, whatever Ecas says, and good luck to you all in your continued patient wait!

Just FYI, I received my FBI PCC last Sat Sep24.
I sent my application on July 25th.

They sure take their time

No change here And its very slow

I understand your situation. You applied one week before me and our medical was issued more than 5 months ago.
