Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Quick question:
My application has been in RBVO at Buffalo for 4 month now. NOC 2121 and 3131.
My passport will expire on Jan 04/12. My country is not issuing passports to anyone due to the bloody popular revolution to overthrow the regime.
Can the visa office issue a visa on an expired passport, as I don't expect the processing to finish before my passport expires. I currently live in US.. please advice !!

I understand your fears. If your country is in the middle of war conflict (this revolution is quite treated like this), maybe it is better to ask for asylum? I am nobody to suggest you such decisions but you know that such conflicts can last for years and you can be left in another country (USA) without travel documents and maybe even in illegal status. Just a thought.

You definitely should think about the backup plan before expiry of your documents.

Hello Vinod,

I don't know if my address disappeared before my status changed to 'in process' I stopped checking my status in June and only bothered to check when i got the PCC request dated 13th September on Friday 16th of September. However, my address is no longer visible on Ecas, I hope this helps.

Call or email CIIP notifying them of your intention to attend online session.
Meanwhile, you have to formally register for the CIIP session before deciding which session you want to attend.
people from different countries attended the one of today but the moderators/facilitators were in London.
We will be attending the one-to-one session tomorrow.

My address disappeared 3rd of September. It has been more than 2 weeks, but to no news. Application filed in December 10, 2nd AOR in March and RBVO since then.

Ray of hope is required... Any cue why is it taking so long to process a December Application.

I have decided that I'll not be checking my eCAS for few days. The most demoralizing thing is when you check eCAS, expecting some update, and there is ACTUALLY no update. My address is missing since 28th Aug and I have been expecting a positive update.

I know "NOT CHECKING" eCAS is not a solution and is not going to serve the purpose but I don't want to face such demotivating situation anymore. I'll be concentrating more on my work and will wait for NDVO to send my PP with Visa.
