I can see that the ecas status has changed for many of the applicants in this forum, what i am not able to understand that though i received my PER on 23rd Nov, my application status still shows "In process". Wonder what is happening with my file and where is lying right now CIO or VO?

Could anyone suggest what to do i cannot login into this forum thru my cell, i have to login using my laptop which kind of becomes cumbersome sometimes. Is there any mobile link as well?

Regards

It seems now that visa office have corrected some applications to "Application Received" or "CIO Eligibility Review Complete" that those applications showing "In Process" are the ones actually at the visa offices.

There is a big update of ECAS on Sunday - they are bringing down the system for an entire day - so we may see more granular/accurate information next week!

Hi everyone, below is an additional info in my ecas status. I have read somewhere back that someone already has the update like this, so probably that member has also received a MR.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 7, 2011.
BTW, I still haven't received the documents sent by my VO, so obviously they used a snail mail. I'll wait til next week. Only 3 days have passed though.

Hello Nursemich,

I guess you missed my earlier question to you. Was that mail from the VO after your second AOR a reply to any of your inquiry or did they send it to you ad-hoc?

The reason i ask is i still feel not every applicant will receive that email to confirm the medical requests sent. May be members need to have an eye on the post box too :)

So, another thing now, when your ECAS says Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 7, 2011., should we think your background checks are just started on Feb 7th?

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Dear Indira,
Dont worry my PER only says -
Your application will be forwarded to the visa office for further processing.
Congratulations though on your PER.

Thanks Uncertain, but mine has one extra word IN ??? so there must be New Delhi in that gap, which is a miss ???

Your application will be forwarded to the visa office in       for further processing.

I don't mind as I've got a PER anyway!

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Thank you for the explanations Temasek, I hope you are correct and our applications are at the VOs already. I guess we will find out shortly...

Cam

As I understand it visa office will not send 2nd AOR as soon as they receive the paper file, they will only send it when they actually start processing the application. Processing = security/background checks + medical requests.

It's unclear whether they perform the security/background checks first, or whether they run these simultaneously with medicals.

Now that Singapore have started getting 2nd AOR's from VO, hopefully the other visa offices will follow suit. We should crossed fingers see a wave of medical requests throughout February, March and April. We are London which is a very busy visa office but we're hopeful of getting medical requests by April.

Congrats and welcome. Is that really a second AOR or first AOR?

Actually we received our file number within the last email. So If I use the correct term it is second

Hi welcome to the thread!

Congratulations on receiving your 2nd AOR. Can you please confirm the following so we can add you to the spreadsheet:
- Did you pay by credit card or debit card?
- When was your payment cashed?
- Did you include PCC with your application?
- When did you get your PER (Positive Eligibility Review) confirmation from CIO?

Also it would be helpful if you could please supply us the wording of your 2nd AOR so we can compare it to the other visa offices. Seems very early for October applicants to be getting 2nd AOR when some haven't got PER yet, are you sure you don't mean PER from CIO?

Thanks !:)
Wayne.

I agree with Indira, we ought to have another column in the spreadsheet with the first 3 letters/digits of the file number. We may even be able to solve the difference between the E and B files once and for all. Mine starts with B05.

Did this come from visa office, or from FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca? If it came from the latter then it is PER, not 2nd AOR. The 2nd AOR will come from your visa office.

Actually I have an immigration lawyer and I am not deeply involved in the details. but I know they use a credit card to pay.
We received our AOR on Feb. 9th. I haven't ssen it myself (I am going to meet my lawyer tomorrow morning) I will update you accordingly
And honestly I don't know what is PCC
