Hi Wayne & others...I'd like to ask one important query

I recieved my file # almost 24 days back and in my case I have not sent the PCCs earlier so I have to submit them now...so I guess there will b a check-list of documents which will be mailed to me by the VO stipulating the requirement of PCC before I can get a Medical request....hence do I have to wait until the VO makes a correspondence with me or should I contact them myself and tell them that I am ready with the PCCs.

Many thanks.

IMO do not get PCCs until your visa office requests them. This way you give your PCC the longest possible lifespan and remove the possibility that you will have to get them yet again in the unlikely event that your application takes longer than 12 months to process.

Try to find out from other users how long it takes to get PCC for your country. In UK it takes 7 to 14 days, but other countries are longer I believe.

Either way you can't really send the documents to visa office anyway until they ask for them.

Wayne.

Hello bd1122 and Sukhi,
Congratulations.
Just a quick one. If I am correct, bd1122 said s/he sent all the documents same as are required by ND VO to Singapore and POLICE CERTIFICATE. Police certificate is not required for babies.
Any contrary views please.

Shalom

Please need urgent assistance.

I have my old application ( Sept. 2006) filled via consultant . In old application my job title was Retail Chemist & NOC code was : 3131 with same job duties & responsibilities.

As in my new application Which is still to dispatch... My job title is Retail Pharmacist & NOC :3131 with no change in job duties & roles.

Do you think that because of change in job title ...there will be problem ? What do you suggest me

Need your urgent help ...

Unsure about other countries but in the UK a child does not have any criminal responsibility until they are 10 years old. Prior to that they cannot be convicted of any crime or hold a criminal record.

Okay Wayne, but for the CIC requirement the PCC is for the principal applicant, spouse, and accompanying family members who are 18 years and above.

Yes I was just demonstating why it would be ridiculous to try to get a PCC for a child ;)

But it must vary from country to country. I thought in Canada 22 was the age at which you are classed as being independent from your parents, I wonder why they did not ask from the age of 22?

Hello Everyone

My file is received by CIO in November and I made the payment through Bank Draft. I am unable to track the BD charged details from my bank. Can I inquire it from CIO.

Kindly Advice

Hello everybody,

A quick question.

I have travelled to the UK in Aug 2005 for about 17 days. This was sponsored by my employer for business related reasons. However, i forgot to declare this in my application. What do you think i must do? However, i did include the letter issued from my employers UK Office, inviting me to London for Official Business related reasons. This letter was actually used to obtian the Visa for UK.

Please help me. Thank you.

Yes you should . As 2 months passed. from which bank you made your BD ?

Hi, ok thanks. I must admit 22 was an assumption made by me because on all the forms CIO ask for info on dependent children under the age of 22, which I guess is where I got the figure in my head from! :)

Well, they 'forgot' about three of us from the 7th September for ages but eventually got their act together :D
Don't worry - all will be well. Problems seem to be reported fast, so no news is good news. ;D
