Please don't bother CIO for this........ I honestly don't understand your query. You have already sent your application. The 2 members whose applications were returned because of BC, was in the month of August. At that time CIO didn't have a clear guidance (from N/Delhi VO) about other documents being accepted as DoB certificate /proof. Now they are aware of this.
They have even published this in one of their instruction / information manual!!! ....... provided you have sent the alternate documents, with explanation. If you have done so... don't worry, it won't get rejected at least on this ground. Hope I could ease your tension / worry.... ;D 8) ;D .....

I have sent my application including 10th class certifcate as proof of Birth for me and my spouse, without giving any explanation nor attched the confirmation letter i had recieved form ND VO about 10th classcertificate and passport can be submitted as proof of Birth.

Please tell me more about the : published instruction / information manual!!!

I feel you should have given an explanation OR attached this letter from VO N/Delhi. Anyways ..... I pray that the application gets accepted as it is!!! Now you can't do anything......... except waiting for the result!!! About this manual...... one of our helpful members have posted the link. But now the pages are almost touching 5 centuries ... so don't know it's exact address
