I need to go to ndvo to ask whereabouts of my passports... Guys gimme tips n advise.. I know they don entertain prv applicants, but there is no other option left.. It has been more than six months since my meds now... No reply to queries, no correspondence.

Hello All,

Finally, An update on my file. I sent an email yesterday to buffalo VO asking for the status and they replied saying, "Your File has been transferred to NY Visa office on April 23rd". happy to hear that there is some movement at least.

But, I didn't receive any email from them unless I initiated a status email (reply on my email). Is this something that I have to worry for (that they don't initiate any email)?

Is VISA valid from the day its issued or from the day of Meds signed by DMP or Meds received ?

Your visa is valid one exactly one after you do your medicals (meaning one year after medicals are signed by the DMP)

Visa is valid till one year from Meds done or before the date of expiry of PPs... whichever is earlier

Just want to share our GSMC notes we received last week:
i was worried that they never acknowledged any receipt of our additional docs sent, anyway the main points are:

Selection criteria, eligibility, required funds - all MET !
all Drafts (RPRF & Add. child) - cashed
new baby - added
Meds - in progress
Security - not started (I presume it will start after Meds received)
PCC from country of birth requested last october, sent in Nov - all received and recorded
Due date and dead line - no change still old date - 24 Jan 2012
Notes recorded - all communications via e-mail, Meds errors, spouse's pregnancy... all we advised earlier

The File is 58 pages compare to the first one was only 35 pages (was empty)

Despite the fact that there are some minor discrepancy on their system, for example they still have us as four people, and all details are for five people. I think as long as they have all recorded, there is no reason for panic. I am satisfied with what on the file so far.

We are currently waiting for our blood test results, should be in this week, hopefully early next week our DMP will send Meds to LVO.

dear brothers;

i'm new here in this forum and i need your help please,

i sent my application on february 2010, NOC 7242 and got NER due to the following;
i have almost 14 years experience as senior electrical technician, but in the previous company i worked 10 years as senior instrument technician as per work certificate but my task list was 100% electrical and i sent an instrument CV to CIO by mistake.
now i want apply again , i have a work certificate from my actual company as senior electrical technician for 3 years and 10 months + my old work certificate as senior instrument technician, and i want just a suggestion from you please.
can i apply with both certificates because in the second still need around 3 months to complete 4 years of experience??
when they receive the new application, the will check with the previous one and it will affect the decision ?? :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
