Hi guys,
My VO is London. I dont know exactly how i will be informed by LVO about the requirements, like MR/RPRF/PCC, since I applied through an agency. Everyday I am use to check the online status. My question is; does LVO ask through the requirements letter/e-mail, which will be received by my agency, or I will come to know through online status?
Im worry might the agency doesn't inform me or they might miss the my mails since they have many customers.
Please let me know if anybody knows the LVO procedures and correspondence method, especially those which their VO is London.
Thanks

Hi Sonir and Canadestin,

My new passport was issued in 2004 and my husband's in 2006. My husband has travel history in the old one, whereas I do not have. With our application we have provided notarised copies of the new ones. But haven't mentioned about the old PPs. So in this case what will I have to do when the time would come? Submit both passports of both of us?

-BhaktiUjjwal

did u provide travel history details of ur husband along wid the application?.....
in NDVO guide/checklist they clearly mentioned that we need to submmit all passort/s copies.

may be that is one of the reason for delay in processing of ur application

as advised by mitali (below) send notarized copies of old pp........they will cross check travel history with exit/entry dates in the PP.

in application forms...there is no question abt old pp's....so mentioning abt old pp's doesnt arise.
but but....in ur new PP...old pp no.willbe mentioned and that proves that u held an old PP...

regarding sending old n new ...depend upon wat NDVO asks u to submmit.

if u had submitted travel history then my advice is send notarized copies old PP now......

Yes, I agree with Canadestin.....when they might have punched in the details of the current PP of your husband's, old one must have flashed and now they dont have the Papers (copies of old PP) to refer to.

You can still send the Notarised copies of the old one.

Agreed with canadestin

I got a response to yet another inquiry to Buffalo today:

"Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum."

Regards,

Still no medical request. Sigh

Thanks for your reply.
What about the PCC and MR, will LVO asks for them seperately or these two I should submit them in one time together? since Ive heard that LVO will ask each one seperately with 45 to 60 days intervals. Kindly advise. thanks

DECISION MADE
as of 27th December.

We have had passport requests but due to the holidays and the risk of the courier trying to deliver them and the VO being closed, we have decided to send them after the New Year break is over.

Thanks for your prompt responses canadestin, mitali and sonir.

I still have a question :P

In the case that it might be getting delayed on account of this, isn't it more likely that NDVO would ask for the documents instead of sitting quiet like this and delaying things?? ?? ??? I of course have no issues in sending off the notarised copies of the old PPs... most logically and to be on safer side I surely should... But just plain curious so asking this... No intentions of challenging anyone here :P
