Did anybody here experience the process at Bucharest VO? What was the process like? When do they request medicals?

mine:
We received your application for permanent residence on July 6, 2011.

Medical Form, RCMP fingerprints request - Nov,8
We started processing your application on November 30, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 20, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

I do not understand how it is possible that the medical request came before the ecas change to "we started processing"...

We have 2 members from Bucharest on the tracker # 25 , 110....both of them have received their visas. You can check their timeline on the tracker (Check my signature below).

Are you living in Canada now?.....as you have been asked for the RCMP finger prints. Ecas is unreliable... ???

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I currently reside in Canada, Toronto. As you can see (if compared to the info in your spreadsheet), the process goes quite fast in my case... So, I am a bit confused.

after long wait Ecas shows IN PROCESS.... application was reviewed and we started processing on December 2, 2011.....

that's mean ur medical on the way my friend congra!

It seems like Bucharest VO also wants to get rid of me, but I have never lived in Romania...

So happy that FINALLY something is happening. Come on Buffalo, lets get it done!

As I sidenote, I sent Buffalo an email asking what was happening, the first one back in October. They didn't reply for a month, so I sent them another one, this time threatening to file an official complaint if they didn't respond (in big red text). That one got them to reply and may be the reason the ball is rolling on my application again.

I know, I was thinking the same Rod. But then again, CanadaJimmy is already in Canada and has a good job, so what can they do to him besides give him his visa? If any of us dares to threaten, it would be Bye Bye

For the record, I am not giving up on my PR application, I was just drained this morning. It is one thing to have to wait for a looooong time, but when they get your email and home address wrong and don't correct it after a gazillion times you contact them... well one gets kind of bent out of shape :-\ But low and behold, CanadaJimmy's news has recharged my batteries
