What is the concept of BFD in application processing. Does it mean that application is processed after 45 days deadline of Medical request. for all those who got medical request in month of october have their BFD in november. So, after that 45 days deadline, does NDVO process the application.

One more question, I found that NDVO took on an average 10-12 monthsto finalise the case and send the applicants Visa (source -- pp submission to NDVO in march 2011) from the date of application received by Centralised Intake Office Nova Scotia.
So, does it mean that December 2010 applicants have an opportunity to get it by November or December 2011.

If any info is added before that then the file will be reopened or else after 45 days another BFD is added to the file.

Have been given 30 days to submit the passport and also to send 2 passport size photos for all the family members

We have our MR and RFPR and I still check ecas . Doing medicals in 4 wks time and PRF will be sent to VO next week. When I checked Ecas this morning our address has disappeared again ,any thoughts. :'(

It takes whole 4 months Medicals received to PPR. They would have email you the details and timelines, check ur email or spam.

Yes Rod....planning is good but the effectiveness should be apparent and visible enough to be appreciated. Hope CIC is really working on this aspect after having so many guinea pigs (applicants) to experiment with.

Just a little upset that the previous workloads and even the present applicant loads are not being addressed Fairly...whether it is Buffalo, London or Moscow VO or the AEO applicants or the unfortunate applicants of pre/post 26th Jun era...who are just hitting the wall everyday...with no response from their respective VOs.

A jar of Patience that never reaches the bottom, is what is required when applicants apply and keep sipping from it everyday to retain sanity (not mentioned on the website though )....

Also hoping the 2012 applicants get a smooth sailing of their applications with utmost FAIRNESS.
