Guys i have scanned copy of my Medical Forms....can i go for meds?

not sure daash but i think you will need your original hard copy for this , ppl those who have received MR can correct me. Did you try to talk to your consultant?

Wish u all happy new year. The new year really rock for my friend TRIUMPH. I am very glad to announce in behalf of him that he got DECISION MADE yesterday.

He is now a days at village and dont have internet so he is not able to come to forum presently. He checked the Ecas on mobile and found the Ecas DM yesterday.

Is there any one else from NDVO who got any othere good news?

no daash without original hard copy u can't do medicals , SONIR is wright.
but where actually is ur original one and who gave u the scanned copy.

but yesterday it was sunday, so do NDVO update ecas even on weekends.

havent received courier yet from my coinsultant who is overseas.....hence was asking...is there a possibility of using scanned documents????///

I don't think so. If your consultant has already couriered it you will get it in 3-4 days. Ask for the courier tracking number from your consultant. In the meanwhile, book your medical appointment and start preparing your package (RPRF+PCC+PPR).

MY NEWS BULLETIN

My ecas changed to IN PROCESS on 23/10/2011 which stated that they have started reviewing my application on October 20.

Today I have received the MR+RPRF+PP request letter from NDVO. Letter is dated October 25. All documents to be submitted by 09/12/2011.

MY QUERY
Please give your suggestion - My son is 22years of age. Need I pay RPRF for him.

My good wishes to all who have received any good news and good luck to all of us.

I have not read the posts for the last two days but could not wait to inform the members who are like my family members. Would read the pages later.

Dear friends..

I am entering the final lap

Received my passport request.

I will drive to buffalo on Monday night and will get the visa stamped on Tuesday morning. I am flying from buffalo to newyork and to my home country to see my son. I am not reentering Canada on November 1 but I will reenter on December together with my son and spouse.

This is an end to my long distance relationship.

Thanks to you all my friends who helped me in my tough journey who gave me strength.

Dear All, I'm happy to announce that I received my CAIPS notes today, as the only fool to have ordered them 2 days before receiving the PPR. To put it in a nutshell, it says that my application is 'Closed' and the reason is 'Approved'.

There was one funny sentence in it towards the end....'Paper file missing' with respect to my medicals I'm presuming. However, they were already approved by then, perhaps this was the reason for the delay in my PPR?

Oh well, I'm just glad its all over. All the best everyone!

You just should have eaten more chocolatcake before asking for CAIPS notes!!!

Hi Daash,

I have already replied to your PM on this...probably you have missed it.

There was case reported on this Forum, who had done Medicals without even getting the formal request from VO. He just used the form available on CIC website and approached DMP wit his valid credentials. Why did he do it.....because he wanted to decrease the processing time on his file.

All DMPs have these forms at their disposal. And if you have the scanned version of the Meds, which I presume have been sent by your Consultant, then you CAN approach your DMP and get your Meds done.

Information extracted from CIC website:

The DMP will confirm the applicant's identity using a government-issued photo-identity document such as a passport or national identity card. When a passport is not available, only an original national identity document incorporating a current photograph, full name, date of birth and signature can be substituted. The national identity card should have been issued within the last 10 years.

Moreover, as I had also suggested that your DMP is just a call away...why dont you give him a call to confirm?
