Hi All

I have a quick question anyone - My bank, NATWEST, has asked me to provide beneficiary address for the RPRF CAD$ draft and I don't know to provide any other detail except RECEIVER GENERAL FOR CANADA. (I am thinking to provide CHC London?)

Has anyone (London Applicants) had the same request from their banks in the process of requesting a bank draft? If yes, what address did you provide.

Thanks

I had the draft payable to receiver general Canada as you have mentioned. The draft does not carry the address. It only has the beneficiary and money and payable at. My bank gave me a draft payable at citibank Canada. I think The bank wants it for their records. Just check and then you can give London vo address but just check if they are going to put it on the draft or not.

FMA (the person who started this thread) landed exactly 1 year ago in Canada - 7th Oct '10. I hope the person who gave us this wonderful platform to interact with each other is doing well. It would be great if he can share his experience during last 1 year with us.

All the best to fma and all my friends here :)

Hi Mahek:

Thanks for posting your GCMS/CAIPs results, may I ask which service you used to obtain them?

As for the date they have given for processing, 2/15/2012, I would not be surprised. Buffalo is the slowest VO out there, truly unfair to applicants. This is my personal feel and I could be wrong, but I think they work on a batch of visas from a group at a time; say Investors, Entrepreneurs, Refugees, or FSWs, etc... and then they move to the other group. Buffalo is VERY behind in processing ALL applications, by going from one group to the other, they get a little bit of applications done from each group.

I'm afraid I'm right there with you as long as the wait goes... Let's see what Rod has to say in a few weeks... Think about it this way, as long as they give us our visas, ten years from now we won't even remember the six months additional wait... as for right now though, the wait is a real pain in the rear!

Regards,
Cam

Thank you for your encouraging words Cam. I just requested them under the Privacy Act as I am currently in Canada. Didn't cost a thing.

The wait wouldn't be too hard if I wasn't starting my 8th year in Canada and separated from my spouse for four years now. I am seriously considering submitting a parallel application under CEC. My entire life is on hold.

Terribly sorry to hear that my friend, I hope your application gets into processing asap... We are all going through some form of hardship... We sold our home five months ago thinking we would have an answer by late summer... we are now renting a place short term and no one is comfortable... my wife and kids are not enjoying this at all; my kids had to change schools and don't look forward to doing it again...

I opted for GCMS only and I found it easy to understand. It also included descriptive notes -- Assessor's comments at various stages of the application.

Thank you very much JasonBourne :) I intend to do the same bro! :)

Same to you Cam. I would be happy with just a medical request now.

Mahek,

Here is my opinion (perhaps optimistic). I don't think you will have to wait until February. It seems that the date shown is exactly one year from when you applied. I think this is the VO target date or when they should complete the file
