Thanks for everyone contributing to this thread and make it vital. On Sep 20 I received an email requesting the medical check up. my e-status now is (in process)

Hi all, I got a letter from Canada immigration office , New Delhi today morning. It stated that they require following documents.

1] A photo copy of the HRSDC confirmation letter (Arranged Employment Opinion) which was sent to your employer for yourself. Please note your arranged employment opinion expired on September 20, 2011.
2] Please provide us a new AEO (Arranged Employment Opinion) in order to continue processing. Please also provide an updated offer of employment from proposed employer in Canada. This must be received at this office by 11/10/2011(MM/DD/YYYY).

Good luck with arranging the requested paperwork!

This doesn't seems to be good... it was not Service Canada or Employer faults rather VO who delayed in processing your file - resulting AEO expired. Now, have you spoken to your employer to check if the revised AEO will come soon rather than in a 6 months time frame?

Hope VO should give you more time in order to receive the new AEO from the employer.

i dont know what to do now...but i m sure my employer will help me for this situation...

How long is a AEO valid for,I didn't think there was a date of validity with them .

It has a validationtime indeed and it's metioned in your AEO approval letter!
Ours is valid for 2 years, so 1 more year to go...

Mine was issued with 2 yr validity. So, just give the heads up to your employer to request validity for the longer period. Just in case...

Called FBI on friday and they say they are still processing. Hope they send it ASAP

My address came back yestreday but without any change. They have not even added the medicals received line..
hope to get that added soon. how much time did that take for you to get mediacls line added???

This is my personal opinion, but I think my application is a bit complicated. I have a wife and two children, my wife and I have lived in France, my wife in England as well, and now both living in the States... a lot to check and verify I suppose. BTW, are you married with children?
